Very Low Free & Total Test, Any Input?

Hey guys,

31 year old here. I have an appointment with Defy medical coming up but wanted to try to get some input on the lab tests that I’ve received. I’ve had all the symptoms of low T. Depression, anxiety, tired all the time feeling… etc
I would love to be able to not hop on TRT as from reading, is a lifetime commitment. I’ve attached the results from my last labs below. Any help on what could be the issue would be greatly appreciated!

Some stats:
31 years old
6’2
209 Lbs
Workout 4x a week
Eat clean
Sleep 8 hours
Taking no medication
Did an AAS cycle once a year Test E-500 with proper PCT the last 5 years. Stopped last year.

Low testosterone, 150mg once a week, DHEA, 50mg every day.

Actively trying to conceive? hCG, 250IU every other day
Concerned with testicular atrophy? hCG, 250IU every other day

Free T is really low. Should try 50mg of T Cyp twice a week for 8 weeks to create a baseline, then re calibrate if Free T is still too low, or if still feeling symptoms.

Seems like you screwed up your body from the AAS.

Thanks for your response! Only question I have is that I’ve read about once vs twice a week injections. I would rather only inject once a week due to ease but I’ve also read that twice a week gives a better sense of well being due to keeping your hormones more balanced. What are your thoughts on this?

TRT will turn you into a low SHBG man within weeks of starting TRT, your protocol will need to change because you’ll lose that natural buffer which binds up androgens testosterone and estrogen and more of your hormones will be free and therefore bioavailable.

Men often choose what convenient and end up choosing the wrong protocol which ends up increasing side effects. Twice weekly will see trough levels higher which mean your levels are higher longer and more steady. If estrogen sides are experienced and you hit your goal on T numbers, you will need to increase injection frequencies.

A twice weekly or EOD protocol is needed. More frequent dosing also increase the ratio or testosterone to estrogen, in other words testosterone is pushed higher and estrogen lower.

Most guys on TRT will do fine with once weekly dosing, and that is about 85-90% of the them regardless of whether or not they are with a TRT doctor, PCP (they are twice monthly) or using black market sourcing.

Most on internet forums inject more often because they are sensitive to hormonal fluctuations, some even do daily. More won’t hurt you, probably not necessary.
