Vegas Shooter Kills 50+

Well, there are some news reports that are stating that this apparently had a great deal of pre-planning involved.

I wouldn’t be surprised at this point if it turns out that this man intentionally targeted the venue and planned for months.

Im not surprised at all. He had suite for a few days. 1000s of people coming and going. He could have easily brought all that stuff in bit by bit. Nobody cleans or checks your room unless you let them. Vegas is super good on privacy and service. He had a expensive suite. My guess is $1000 per day… He planned this for months. Hes from the area. Plus remember Vegas is number one convention place so bringing in carts, tons of luggage ect is normal.

Please, you know what I meant.

ISIS, strangely enough, has been extremely credible when taking credit for attacks. Contrary to popular belief, they don’t normally take credit for attacks not related to them. The only time they got it wrong was with an attack that turned out to be a botched robbery. So, I take them at face value and don’t dismiss them.

The FBI, in contrast, has regularly lied to us and been proven to be liars in the topic of Islamic terrorism. They have an agenda, made the assertion without evidence after about 12 hours. That’s simply not credible. Now, they may be telling the truth here, but it sound like a knee jerk denial because they want to find no link. Talk about jumping to conclusions.

Interesting take.

By the time we published our project, I didn’t believe in many of the interventions I’d heard politicians tout. I was still anti-gun, at least from the point of view of most gun owners, and I don’t want a gun in my home, as I think the risk outweighs the benefits. But I can’t endorse policies whose only selling point is that gun owners hate them.

I was with her until the tailored interventions section.

Las Vegas Sherrif used the word “radicalized” in an interview yesterday to describe Steven Paddock. That word usually has something to do with Islam, not so much other political movements. I’m surprised that no leaks have hit yet, given how high profile this is.

They are bringing the girlfriend in for questioning in the US.

The Gateway Pundit citing Infowars? I smell a Pulitzer…

Daily caller link has the video. You can watch the Sheriff say those words.

I love how a couple of news agencies (USA Today) have floated stories about “the motive doesn’t matter.” Of course the motive doesn’t matter to them, white rural Trump voters got killed. I’ll bet they floated no such stories with Dylan Roof.

The killer made a video of himself in the act and (apparently from the photos) left a note. The only reason the killer’s motives are unclear is the feds don’t want us to know.

The fact that the media is now downplaying his motive tells us his motive is not a media-approved motive.

Remember, they tried to bury the Orlando killer’s clear Islamic motives, even editing out his Islamist crap on 911 calls. They admitted it only when leakers busted them. So that remains a distinct possibility.

On the other hand, the guy was apparently a postal worker, IRS agent, and union member, which is, about 80% of the time, a Democrat. There are very unclear/uncertain photos of a guy named “Steve” who looks like this douchbag with a woman who looks like the girlfriend in question at anti-Trump rallies. There are Democratic voter registrations from a guy with his name from Florida when he was there, that may or may not be the same guy.

It’s all inconclusive, but my money is on yet another rabid Democrat like the Scalise shooter or yet another Moslem terrorist. Or both.

If he was a white supremacist or the like that fit the approved agenda, they’d have leaked them and played his videos 24/7 on the news.

You are being dishonest or you simply lack language comprehension skills. The sheriff did not use that word to describe the shooter. He said that they were not discounting that possibility. Even that clickbait headline you posted read, “floats the POSSIBILITY [emphasis mine].” How you got from that headline to what you posted is a sign of what is wrong with this country.

CNN already posted this little dandy. Personally I’m curious about the antipsychotics he was taking.

I’m not reading that but if someone wants to blame all of these mass shootings and killings, that aren’t tied to Islam (even though many of the Muslims involved could be described as angry white men), on anger issues then there would be a lot more murders happening. As you mentioned, I think we need to really look at the mental health angle.

The average citizen can buy a gun.

I skimmed it for the angry racist rant that it was

I logged in to post some Gad Saad and Jordan Peterson talks because I know some folks here would like them…

Then I saw people un-ironically defend antifa… And people “like” posts that in-ironically brag about initiating violence on someone because they dare have a shitty worldview and speak it.

So I’ll likely just post this and bounce. I don’t have the time to waste trying to actually have conversation with people who think antifa is in anyway better than those they “oppose” or that random street violence is A-Okay if the person happens to believe the wrong thing to be true at the moment…

This is half true and half not. Cases of ammo come in 1,000 rounds. Buying by the case yields the lowest per round cost. Those of us that shoot on a regular basis what to minimize costs, and also have ammo in reserve when the next shortage happens because tragedies like this tend to cause runs.

Now that I moved to America from Massachusetts I can and have ordered ammo by the case and have it shipped to my door. The only weird look I get is the from the UPS guy who has to lift it.

Buying a couple thousand rounds during a sale is not out of the ordinary by any stretch and shouldn’t be seen as such. It’s no different than waiting until a sale and buying all your families Christmas presents. (My wife prefers 357 btw, and I can always use more 9 and 45. I’ve got 556 for days lol).

That said…

Buying actual firearms is different. There are specific rules FFL’s must follow for “bulk” and “frequent” purchases. I can’t off the top of my head remember, and I’m not calling a client for an internet post’s accuracy. So you’re right that buying upwards of $50k worth fo firearms in a short period of time will have flags raised, but if the purchases are from different stores, over the course of years… It won’t cause a single hiccup.

Where did I say he called the shooter a radical Muslim? I said he used the word “radicalized”. I’m merely looking for context clues since the FBI and the LVPD are playing this close. You’re being awfully defensive.

You read in whatever you want. Enjoy firing off those personal attacks.

Pics of the guy dead in this article, complete with note on the table. If you smuggle in dozens of weapons, book the room on purpose and wire up cameras… That’s not the result of medication. That’s rational planning.

You wrote that the sheriff described him as radicalized and that isn’t true. I am not reading anything into it. Here is what you wrote: “Las Vegas Sherrif used the word “radicalized” in an interview yesterday to describe Steven Paddock.” Pay attention to the last half of your sentence. And I would argue that you are being defensive while I’m only asking for honesty.

Gun owner or nutjob?
