US should not attack Iraq

I know exactly how Hitler came to power, in great detail. I have both a European History degree, a degree in German Language, and I lived and studied in Europe for quite some time, so don’t try your “ignorant American” horsehit with me. We are all terribly impressed with how the rest of the world judges us by our bad circus TV that THEY buy and we turn down, base their decisions about Americans on this, and then have the gall to call us know-nothings. The ignorance thing is getting a little silly – especially when you come onto an English language board, accuse its participants of being stupid and blind, and then precede to knock out some Oliver Stone nonsense with exceedingly poor spelling and grammar.

I did answer your underlying question – which was “doesn’t what is happening now with Bush in America resemble what happened with Adolf Hitler in the 1930’s?” The answer is no, the only similarity is that there is military force involved.

Do you really think that the stock market is the real indicator of the economy? GDP – UP IN 2001, SHARP INCREASE so far IN 2002 to over 4% growth. (In fact, the only time this was negative was one quarter of last year, so the US was not even technically in a recession.) Personal income – up. Retail sales – UP. Overall economic growth – UP, except for the last quarter of last year. Home ownership and new home building – up. Unemployment – down to under 6% and dropping steadily. Inflation – 3%. That is nothing like the situation of Germany in 1932.

In any case, wherever you are, you better hope you are completely incorrect, because if George Bush is in fact Adolf Hitler reincarnated, then you are in deep shit. Since you know so much about Hitler, you will remember that dissidents ended up in the slave and death camps too.
