I have gotten more skeptical over time. It is hard to believe much of anything these days for me. I have feelings one way or the other, but find myself lacking proof to say I know that (talking with some of the conservative posters here like twojar have increased this).
I will say I have always wanted to know the why behind things. I always have been one to question rules that don’t make sense to me. I was told growing up that I am analytical. But my level of skepticism has grown over the years.
I wish we could have both sides like this again. I think it would be great for the country, and the GoP might get my vote back if they run a candidate like McCain again (I did vote McCain).

You might dispute it, but there has been evidence of voter fraud. And sure, it happens in any election, but that doesn’t mean we should accept it as normal. Trump challenging these things in various states is totally acceptable in such a tight race. Doesn’t Biden have a few hundred attorneys on staff to deal with the election results if they don’t go his way? If Arizonaflips back to Trump will Biden just say “oh well, that’s the way our system works” our will be get the lawyers involved?
Definitely same here. My dad did teach me something great, but it needs revised for modern times. His favorite is “believe half of what you see and none of what you hear”, but I think the number for “what you see” needs to be lowered substantially.
Having said that about Hillary…Yes, Trump is a conspiracy crank. It isn’t even arguable, and so are many of his die hard fans. I have some fantastic family that are clinging to every tweet claiming to have uncovered the conspiracy whose uncovering will save Trump’s re-election.

Glad to see people were just as ignorant then, but at least the candidates were better. I was coached to fear Obama by my wickedly conservative family, but after all, he was a decent man. Policy-wise? I wasn’t a fan of everything, but after the last 4 years I’d like to see someone that emanates decency and thought again. Still not sure we’ll have that, but we may be headed in the right direction at least.
No. Claiming an election is rigged months before it happens is. Some of the stuff being passed around off illegitimate pictures or errors that were quickly corrected are.
Of course not. I don’t think anyone is saying accept voter fraud. What people are saying is don’t say things without evidence. The President initially demanded votes were all finalized on Election Day and said it was against the law for it not to be. Which isn’t just accurate but would have cost Republicans past elections if it was.
It’s far more likely that Biden will lose votes over the mail in thing than he will anyways. Of course we don’t know that for sure but it’s at least an educated guess given how often those can be tossed due to an error and the overwhelming amount of mail in votes that went for Biden.
Now he’s demanding counting stops what we have to assume are legitimate votes. Except in states where he’s behind.
It doesn’t get much shadier than that. It’s absolutely inexcusable. And all this is happening not after the election is done but before and during it.
I will promise you this. If election fraud is widespread enough that evidence is strong enough to say that Trump should have won this election I’ll be banging the drums for him to remain President.
Hell we don’t even know that he hasn’t already won it. But saying to not count votes is horseshit and everyone knows it.

If noting else, I think Trump brought this deep state crap into the forefront.
What’s scary is the tech is constantly improving. We’re going to get something that you can’t tell is fake unless you use other tech to check it one day.
I kind of think most Republicans will want to move on pretty quickly. They’re in a pretty good position with the USSC and congress. So, unload an inconvenient headache and find a better messenger to tap into a multiracial (Trump may have made some interesting gains with Latinos and blacks) blue collar movement. In 4 years they can run against Biden or Harris.
I’m no expert on the matter, but let’s use PA as an example. If I’m not mistaken, their election law states that mail in votes have to be recieved by 8pm on election day. PA supreme court decreed they could be recieved 3 days after election day. Problem is, the PA supreme court cannot make that decision. The state legislature has to change the election laws in that state to make a change like that, which they did not do.
So is it not fair for Trump to take legal action against PA?
