US Presidential Election Predictions

My election prediction by state was really good. My GOP will distance themselves from Trump if he loses was really bad. It’s one thing to read about four years of “well in private they say this but in public they stand by him” type cowardice. But to read about them saying yeah we know he lost but it’s important we talk about how the election was rigged so his people don’t get mad is just another level.

One of the few Presidents in the last century to fail to secure a second term and they are still scared to death to oppose him. Hell they can’t even oppose him on the absolutely obvious point of he lost the election. Which the vast majority of senate and house people undoubtedly know is true.

We are absolutely at the point where the President could say Mar A Lago is the new capital of the United States of America and most of the GOP isn’t correcting him. We know why they couldn’t make a platform now. What Trump says is gospel. No matter what.

It’s telling that people can’t tell the difference between claims of meddling, which have been proven, and claims of widespread fraud that have zero proof.

This is how I’ve felt as well. I was hoping we could sack Trump and keep Republican control of the Senate. I’ll be laughing as well if Republican voters don’t show up in Georgia on 1/5 because they think the vote’s rigged.

Now the TX GOP chair is suggesting, in light of the loss, that like-minded states form their own Union.

It’s just one doofus, but it’s a doofus of some position and importance, calling for secession.

Sound familiar?

  1. Pretend states rights advocates asking the federal government to do unprecedented things to protect their interests

  2. They don’t get what they want, attempts at the federal level fail

  3. They call to abandon the Union and form their own country who will do it “right”

God, I would pay all I have to read that demolition! Can we find a necromancer anywhere?? I’ll go in halves!

Yes. Yes and yes. Abominable.

I despise the spinelessness of the GOP leadership, but I’m also not foolish enough to want the democrats to control all the levers of legislation and the executive.

But that’s not going to stop me from enjoying every brief second of fleeting comedy gold. Kinda like I enjoyed the breakdown of HRC’s supporters when Trump won in 2016 even though I was NOT looking forward to the train wreck to come. Those tears were glorious.

(In hindsight, I underestimated the magnitude lol)

Doofus is far too kind a word for someone like that. Can someone, anyone of any importance in the GOP, PLEASE tell them to suck it up now and grow a pair?? Shit’s over. Lawsuits failed.

Huh… Vaguely like something I read about in school once… Hmmm…

The irony of Trump saying ANYTHING about scandals is just too juicy. From his Twitter:

“Now that the Biden Administration will be a scandal plagued mess for years to come, it is much easier for the Supreme Court of the United States to follow the Constitution and do what everybody knows has to be done. They must show great Courage & Wisdom. Save the USA!!!”

L - O - Fucking - L

You guys are cracking me up how you feed off each other and work yourselves into a frenzy. I don’t expect anyone to change their minds but man people, the truth is right in front of you if you’d only have the courage to look.

This is so much bigger than party line bullshit.

Closed minded people like all of you are the reason Trump had to do things this way. Sad, but necessary.

What exactly is this truth? The fraud allegations are crap. Everybody knows it. If there had been ANYTHING to them, Trump wouldn’t have lost 55+ lawsuits in a row including the Supreme Court’s terse 1 paragraph dismissal.

In the process of all this, Trump has undermined faith in our elections and our institutions, and very possibly ruined the GOPs chance of maintaining a Senate majority, for nothing except his own inability to accept that he lost. And many in the GOP have gone along with it, all but ensuring they have sunk their credibility for years.

Add two more um “states” that joined the Texas AG in the lawsuit. It’s hard to believe this didn’t push this suit over the top!

Imaginary States ‘New Nevada,’ ‘New California’ File Brief Supporting Texas Lawsuit To Overturn Election (forbes.com)

It’s consistent with the alternate reality that many Trump-obsessed are living in.

You know what’s even sadder about all this, @thunderbolt23?

All for one man who doesn’t give a shit about this Country, being President or much of anything but himself. If he gave a damn about “fraud” or the “integrity of the elections”…couldn’t he have looked at maybe just one State he won to compare and contrast?

This is all about ego at it’s worst…and it’s all tearing us further apart.

MAGA.

Have to share with you how inside/out…up is down…this all is…

The Pennsylvania AG stated that one of their Congressman signed this sham of an Amicus Brief that something like 3/4 of the Trumpublicans in the House signed…in a “sham” election in which he has just won!

Don’t give me some bullshit that it “showed his commitment to truth”…

Again…bullshit…he knew he could have his cake and eat it too…gain favor with the King and his Followers by signing something he knew wasn’t going anywhere…

It’s called selling one’s Soul for short term gain, folks…

In a tweet overnight, Mr. Trump said, “The Supreme Court really let us down. No Wisdom, No Courage!”

Truth is what Trump defines as truth…

Think it’s not all about him?

It’s disgraceful. Absolutely disgraceful. An I hate that a party I have voted for has tied themselves to this tantrum throwing baby.

Oh, no. I beg to differ. With the connections and influence these positions allow one to benefit from, these guys can have long and lucrative careers at their constituents expense.

When it comes to souls, this is definitely a sellers market.

You don’t really expect an answer?

Obviously as he needs money to pay his bills.

No. Not a sensible one at least. I’m just hoping it doesn’t involve the letter Q
