US Presidential Election Predictions

sigh

Close to an HOUR

The President of the United States

Not discussing the pandemic; or the economic difficulties we are going through/consoling the families losing loved ones/helping the incoming President in whatever way he possibly can/offering leadership when and where it is sorely needed…while his sycophant lawyers cross the country further stirring up division and distrust, echoing Trump’s lies…

Instead for close to and hour he spends his time on the taxpayers dime spreading lies, misinformation and discrediting one of the bedrocks of our democracy, while spewing vile untruths about how he was wronged…

I will repeat Captain Miller from “Saving Private Ryan”:

…We have crossed some strange boundary here…and the world has taken a turn for the surreal…

It’s hard some days to even know what to say…

Did everyone catch their “star” witness of fraud in the Michigan case? This is all so utterly unbelievable that this is happening in our country (and a sizable minority actually BELIEVE it):

Calm down everyone.

President Biden has put together a crack team of Obama staff to help him get us back on the NWO track. Judging by his inability to give get through a teleprompter announcement yesterday, l still hold to my prediction that we will have our first woman president in 6 months, not including Edith Wilson.

The clown car is so full right now. How Rudy thought it’d be a good idea to put her up there after this interview with her is evidence enough that he should be disbarred. But, I guess when you’re scraping the bottom of the barrel you gotta’ go with whatever you have. By the way, she was deemed “not credible” as a witness.

Wow! What a earth shattering rock solid witness, lmfao! Is this the best this shit show can come up with?

At this point, I’ll take our first “golden retriever” president over our what Trump has devolved into.

I have recently wondered “Who are these people that actually believe the conspiracy theories thrown out there by Trump, Guiliani, and Powell? How could they possibly function in real life?”

Then, I saw her, and went “Oh. That’s exactly what I should have expected.” A commenter said she is what a MAGA hat would be if it came to life. That kinda nails it.

Any “what-about-ism” of ANY former President or of President elect Biden at this point almost doesn’t deserve a response. Trump is setting a bar that is now all his own.

It will be interesting to say the least. I certainly hope that does not occur, but at this point who knows…

Have you guys seen the retweeting of this:

WTPC Calls for President to Invoke Limited Martial Law to Hold New Election and Protect our Vote, in Full Page Washington Times Ad, if Legislators, Courts and Congress Do Not Follow the Constitution

By the just-pardoned General Flynn?

I keep thinking I can’t be any further shocked, then…I am.

I’ve been thinking and reading about that as well. It is mind boggling that people can’t see through it. I found this article which was written before Trump had become the Republican candidate, or right afterwards:

From the article: These individuals are unhappy and resentful, and when they hear persuasive speeches which promise to rid their country of the evil-doers and provide simple answers to their miseries, they gullibly believe the rhetoric. As a result, their anger flows and their passions become inflamed.

I think the simple answers part is key. All kinds of people want simple answers to most things when the right answers to complicated questions are rarely simple. We on this site know there’s no shortcuts to better physical performance, low bodyfat percentages, more muscle mass etc. It takes a multi-pronged approach, hard work and time for most people to make significant progress on those fronts but that doesn’t stop the less informed from buying the latest pills, diet fads, etc. when they promise results in 8 days!

edit to add: Shit I just did if right there in this post. I boiled down a whole article into one thing: Simple Answers.

If l had the desire (but don’t), l could probably find a 10 year old post stating the Executive branch has gotten way too much power.

But l don’t see an economic upside coming between new taxation, green regulations, opened borders, more stimulus to calm the locked out of work masses, and pulling down of any import restriction while meekly kowtowing to every export limitation.

I said months ago, think l had a thread comparing Biden to Hindenburg. Trojan Horse as an example conveys the same thought. I will grant that he is more centrist, but he won’t be able to maintain the energy, willpower, or cognitive ability to withstand the looniness that will ‘demand’ its implementation.

Nominating you for some Cabinet job, somehow, whatever it takes…

Yep…

Same here.

Same here… I’ve been hoping for a while it’s just a quirk of the universe. Unfortunately I think it’s something more chronic.

Hah! Gotta love double meanings.

Entirely too much.

Unreal. Just unreal. I’d say something else but the amount of cognitive dissonance in that sentence is simply blowing my mind.

At this point, with an ad like that, it doesn’t matter if Trump is retweeting or not, supporting it or not. That needs to be squashed regardless of how classy or not the POTUS is.

Unbelievable.

(By the way…what is “Limited” Martial Law???

But Obama rode a bike with a helmet so it kind of evens out.

I share some of these concerns (not sure I think he’s going to kowtow though). What is different for me though is that I think the stimulus is necessary right now, and I don’t think he’ll be able to get these others done right now for several reasons:

  1. The recession/pandemic is still going strong. Extra taxation and regulation would kill a recovery and I think he and/or his advisors are smart enough to see this. If these are to be enacted it will not be soon unless he wants to spook the market and recovery. I don’t think he does. If these are to happen they will probably happen in a couple years, because nobody in either party wants to kill our recovery. Well maybe the loons like AOC.

  2. A lot of his agenda depends on controlling majorities in Congress. If the GOP can maintain its majority in the Senate they stymie a lot of this. Gridlock is good.

This is my primary concern with him. I don’t think the loons will have power within the party in the short term though because the democrat leadership is recognizing that those talking points are losing them seats. Medium/long term yes that concerns me.

Forgive me for not knowing what the hell you are talking about. I asked you for a list or something of scandals the President was the arbiter of, following the accusation that he is the most scandalous president in history.
Since I have been very specific in my ask and after 2 tries, have gotten nothing I am forced to assume there are none.
If you want to talk about election fraud, we can, all you have to do is ask. But that has nothing to do with this.

Back at 'ya. @pat

Just a partial list was given; and me and other posters went on to discuss scandals vs. policy decisions with poor outcomes, and I guess you chose to ignore it all.

This is kind of thing that is mentally exhausting, @pat.
