If anyone is interested, Northrop Grumman is unveiling the B-21 today at 730 pm EST.
This is the newest highly capable bomber for the US only.

I do like the Doolittle’s Raiders connection.
That’s exactly what it’s named after.
Watch them have all this hype just to reveal it, and it looks dumb AF like Boeing’s F-35 prototype
All I’ll say is I guarantee B-21 doesn’t look that dumb.
However that dumb looking Boeing aircraft by all performance metrics was better than lockheeds submission.
I mean sure, if we take for granted that Boeing could have combined both of it’s submissions into one functioning vehicle. That and the VTOL verson boeing submitted could barely get off the ground… not sure I agree with your opinion here, but I’ll take your word on the B21!
I am waiting for our favorite friend lately to find this thread and call me a terrorist
Is it going to stay white or they going to paint it something cooler?
Don’t know. Color is mostly determined by the stealth coatings I would guess
Wasn’t sure where else to post this.
Looks like pilot failure to me, what do you think @cyclonengineer?

Hmm,
Hard to say for sure. I do not know the flight controls system and what parts are automatic and which aren’t (I would assume during VTOL landing that much of it is automatic). If there was an issue where after the initial bounce the engine for some reason throttled up with the flaps were in a position that would tip the nose down it could have reacted like that.It also looked like the nose gear broke which would have pitched the nose down hard, pitching the plane down with it’s CG as the pivot while the engine was still shooting towards the ground pushing the tail of the plane further up.
This is why when we do flight test we don’t stop monitoring until the bird is in the chocks and engines are shutdown.
Glad the pilot was able to eject safely.
