Cudapwr, Brad - He’s not in, that’s just the point. If you want a good laugh just type his name into the search engine and read his past posts. This guy wanted to be a Marine so bad he could taste it …then overnight he’s badmouthing the Corps and wants to join the Air Force …C-5, C-5, C-5 is all we keep hearing now he hasn’t even been in one yet…next week he’ll be joining the Navy!!

This clown reminds me of the kids we’ve all run into in the past. You’ll be on an exercise or a mission somewhere and there’s always 1 or 2 kids who are always hanging around, you’ll talk to them, give them a bunch of badges, fill them full of bullshit and convince them that nobody can ever compare to the unit that you’re with. After a while you go away never to return but the kid never forgets …he gets a little older and wants to be just like the soldier he remembers “hanging around with” until, of course he meets someone from a different branch of the Service and unless he’s matured enough to make up his own mind, the cycle starts all over again.

When this kid posts a picture of himself proudly wearing the uniform of his choosing, his credibility will escalate - 'till then, he’s that kid I was talking about using words like “us” and “we” when talking about the exploits of others.

Cudapwr - Our guys were in Somalia too, good friends of mine were clearing those minefields. I was in Haiti probably long after you had been and gone - '96 and again in '97. If you were in Port-au-Prince at Jumpmaster Base we were at Camp Maple Leaf on the other side of the airfield. There was a small outdoor gym at the American camp, it had a sign that read “THE HOUSE OF PAIN” …I stole that sign in '96 :slight_smile:
And it’s not just the Airforce sunbathing either, I spent a few Sundays at Club Med and Wahoo Bay playing volleyball on the beach WITH THE US MARINE CORPS!!!

Solojobber - the fact that he thinks he knows doesn’t bother me at all …there’s many people out there who THINK they know - it’s no fault of their own. What bugs me is that this guy will mislead others into believing that he actually has been there and done that, others that don’t know the difference will believe him and that’s the beginning of where all the misconceptions come from.

I’m too lazy to look back to see who said it but someone said that they didn’t care if it was an Iraqi soldier, they would still respect them for wearing the uniform and fighting for what they believe in. I agree.

For your info I AM enlisted in the Air Force, awaiting ship to boot, as I HAVE pointed out numerous times in the past.
I never said I had enlisted in the Marines. I said I was VERY interested. As you could see in this thread I was still very respectful of the Marines as you can see from the logo I posted - until the insults started flying. Yes the same ones I quoted.

I didnt join because soldiers looked cool. I joined to serve my country - THATS IT. I took the SMART ROUTE, and took the time to explore each and every service in detail. The Marines were the first. The Air Force was the last. And Air Force it was.

Now, what about my situation makes me a wannabe? The fact that I didnt rush the enlistment process and actually thought it through EXTENSIVELY? The fact that I joined the branch which I matched most closely seeing as my career goal is to be a pilot for a big Airliner? The fact that I actually respected Marines and all Servicemen so much I defended them in my posts with my own teeth? The fact that I respect my Govt so much that I defended its actions the way I did? The fact that I actually gained some knowledge on military issues and learned that the Air Force opened the war on Iraq/Afghanistan very successfully, and that were the strongest air power in the world?

See, I just enlisted a month ago. Obviously Im VERY enthusiastic about my decision with the Air Force - so much so its all Ive been posting about. I have no experience so I do refer to the knowledge Ive gained researching each service.
But see, one thing I do have extensive experience on is doing what we T-Men do - Iron and Beef. Solojobber on the other hand could easily be considered my mirror image - extensive experience in the military but when it comes to weightlifting/nutrition all he has is his research as you can see by his pics. When you weight train right and eat right it shows.

BUT you dont see me go on his threads and call him a cum slurping slut. You dont see me joke with him by calling him a lolita - a very appropriate term if you ask me. You dont see me tell him he needs to make a GROWN-UP decision and FOR ONCE work out like a REAL MAN, and eat like a REAL MAN - and that then MAYBE hell finally be recognized as a T-Man. You dont see me tell him that hes just another wannabe who regardless of what good advice hes given, still wont lift a finger to exercise self-discipline to eat right and weightlift right.

Because see, that is not what T-Men do.

Oh and my flameage? You must be a moron if you think Ill try to reason with you once you insult me. If anything Ill personally kick your ass if I ever meet you.
