Hey fellow T-Men, mon queb wrote another anti-American thread!!! Wasn’t that marvelous!!! Thanks mon quebec, you’ve enlightened me and the rest of the posters. That whole deal about bombing a Red Cross building really was a zinger!!! Maybe we should just forget about the whole September 11th thing. Maybe we should just hide and hope no one in Afghanistan tries to kill us. We wouldn’t want people like mon quebec to be angry at us. Oh no, a demonstration against the United States!!! If the french, germans, and mon quebec don’t like us, I guess we must be bad.
Actually, thanks for the laugh you little prick.
US=GG. Forget Monsieur Quebec, it`s a lost cause.
My guess is that he is someone using the nick as a front, or that he is indeed from Quebec and his french deliberately sucks (which is at best bizarre, because he`s apparently proud of his french historical bias with such a choice of nickname).
When was the last time he wrote something without a controversial or asking-to-be-flamed tone? He`s just a string puller.
yeah…I agree with you Phatman…
SOLOJOBBER…I admire that you spent some time in the military. I really do. Tons of guys these days have NO CLUE what serving means. They take the free ride this country gives them and would NEVER dare to think of giving back at all…or putting their nads on the line!
Now…if you want to stand by your contention that all of the Air Force is pussies…
Lets bare and compare…put your pic up against mine and see who has done more hardcore training! That goes for Montrosefan also. He was AirForce when he built a hardcore physique. He happens to be an Army Officer now…but he wanted to go Air Force. You care to bare and compare against any of us “Air Force Pussies”? Since you are going to make an outrageous comment like that…I might as well throw down an outrageous challenge to you bro!
All the services have their place. I salute them all…literally and figuratively!

Ok I saw something about the french. Who have they beat in battle? Oh yeah the Big Red One woooooppped ther ass in Africa. OK I’ll give the foreign Legean props for kicking there own asses…
French=joke,oh they sided with the germans too after they surrenderd, good one.
I am sorry I even posted the damn thread and reduced myself to Solojobber’s level.
See, there’s a reason why you see so many airmen working on a 240 ft long, 7 stories high C-5 Galaxy where you can fit several black hawks in. Or why you see so many damn airmen working on a B-52. Or why you see so many airmen working on our missiles and bombs such as heavy Daisy Cutters and M.O.A.B.S.
Because they’re not huey-sized. They’re actually big. But maybe you could enlighten us in the AF and take over a single C-5 Galaxy and fix it all yourself in a timely manner so it is mission ready. After all, you ARE a Marine.
Maybe youd like to try your hands on the new aircraft being developed to carry 15,000 troops, is twice as big as a B-747, and will fly at 25 ft over the sea for max lift. Im sure youll have it mission ready in no time if it gets through.
I guess I better represent the Squids in this discussion.
On the topic of…
Getting Laid… Lots of opprotunity, especially if you’re the “Doc” for a group of Marines or Seabees.
Chances of getting laid if you’re a mechanic on a burly aircraft… Good luck with that, I’m sure you’ll do fine.
Air Force/Army gymnasiums… Kick ass, a lot can be accomplished at these establishments. Everywhere you go from Elmendorf to Travis to Andrews to Nellis to Fort Lewis there are kick ass gyms.
Gyms on a Navy Sailing Vessel… Sucky, crowded, can’t be used in heavy rolls.
Gyms on a Navy base… Generally pretty good, I’m especially attached to the one I work out at nowadays.
Gyms on a Marine Corps Base… Fair to outstanding depending on where you are.
Time that the average Deployable Marine/Sailor has at his home base/port before deploying or detaching for training… Minimal. Whether you’re on a field excersize or a regular deployment, you always seem to be abroad more than you’re at home. It’s definitely not a lifestyle suited for someone who needs to sleep in his or her own bed every night. My point is that I’ve barely had the opprotunity to start a legitimate BB probram until last year because of our operational tempo. Thankfully I’ve got the next year or so while on instructor duty to do what I want to do.
Sailors and Marines have a problem with Air Force and Army folks because they have better gear, better quality of life, better educational opprotunities, better food, and generally higher living standards. When I was traveling with the Marines, we would land at a base (Yuma AZ. for example) and get stuck in some shitty barracks while the Air Force crew that gave us a ride would get Hotel rooms because the barracks didn’t meet AF standards. Also, the jobs that are available in the Air Force and Army are definitely more specialized. The Job I do now involves communicable disease prevention, infection control, epidemiology, occupational and industrial hygiene, chemical, biological and radiological preventive medicine, food and water sanitation and disease vector entomology. The AF and Army have one person filling each of those positions. That’s the kind of shit that pisses us off.
Is the AF full of pussies? No.
Scott O’Grady definitely had to Man up while he was stuck out in the Bosnian bush.
Do they get pampered moreso than other branches? You bet your ass.
Does it cause animosity? Yes indeedy
Is it all in god fun? Not all the time.
Is it getting better? I believe it is especially with all of the joint service warfare that’s going on nowadays.
We’re all in this thing together afterall.

I completely agree with you. Very good sumation!

What about the sailors no navy men or woman. Come on show your self. I?m presently in the final stage of Bud/S. For those military men I have my Brown BUD/S shirt! Your all pussys come on grunts and AirWillis. Come on down and show a sailor up. HA!HA!
Brad, well said - it’s not much different up here where we’re such a small force we almost have to know everyone else’s job as well as our own.
Boss, as a Canadian Combat Diver I’ve spent a bit of time on exchange at Little Creek and San Diego myself …a bunch of us were supposed to do BUD/S a few years ago but our 2 governments couldn’t come to an agreement as usual and it never happened …too bad, you guys are high speed!!
My post were made to deisel. If the others were offended i could not really care. Diesel you know nothin to ya have served. Brads post was almost acurrate. My quality of life and school opptions were excellent. But I did work With the white House detachment. But the comraderie(?) is better in the marines then another.
Phatman I respect your comments.
Peter doctor go back to posing in the trailerparks.lol
I guess I should explain a few things before this thing revolves into anything more pathetic.
Diesel PMed me quite a few time asking all sorts of questions about the corp. He was all gung ho he took the oath and everything.
I did not really care he decided to join the Airforce. Of course I am partial to the Marines maybe a was a little disapointed.
When this post was started my first comment was a joke. Then I was provoked so I had to back it up.
Do I think that all Airforce are pussies,NO. But compared to the Marines Yes. Yes I do. ![]()
Good post brad.
Listen Solojobber…your smooth…weak looking…and have made an idiot of yourself in these last few posts…
How can you generalize anything about the toughness of the services? I met tough and weak guys in ALL BRANCHES! I was prior enlisted in the Air Force so I hung out with more enlisted members and therefore MORE members of each branch of service…places like the enlisted clubs etc are a good example.
I would expect a little more maturity regarding the military than you have shown.
As for the trailerpark joke…yes…there were fat asses hanging around the backstage area at the Georgia Championships in the pic I had on here. The point is…I WALK THE WALK…WHAT THE HELL DO YOU DO???..BY YOUR PIC…NOT MUCH!!!
Holy crap. Diesel is NOT going in the Marines? When did this happen? Didn’t he already get sworn in, meaning he gave his oath as a Man to be a Marine? What the hell happened?
yea you pic is got me scared. Maturity ahhh if you are so mature why are you posting this in reference to me. to show your maturity? I guess the Airforce taught you to whine.

When you walk down a dark alley, who do you want backing you up? A Marine, or an airman?
Who sleeps in a muddy foxhole, just this side of a minefield, curled up next to an m16?
Who sleeps in a warm bed, curled up next to a pillow?
Who charges up hills, only to die, or charge again when he gets thrown back down?
Who flys over, drops a bomb, and heads for the hanger?
Who must trek through the jungle, and the desert or any other place, looking for mines or trip wires or an ambush, while staving off diseases, malnutrition and fear?
Who drives a million dollar toy and is home by supper time?
Who’s pt is riding bikes, and has an 8 week boot camp?
Whos training is the hardest, and has a 13 week boot camp?
Who signs up so YOU can be free?
Who signs up for the posh life?
Let me ask you this, If you were going away for a week or two, who would you want watching over YOUR family? A marine, and a fly-boy in his jet?
There is no question to it. Airmen are indeed pussies.

I want someone who will have my back, Marine or Airman doesn’t matter. Ever hear of Para-Rescue? They are the guys in the Air Force usually called to rescue people like Seals and Rangers who get themselves into trouble while training in Alaska and Fla.
Guess that was you with me when I was sleeping in my Fox hole, next to my M-16, guarding my Tav-ee and my F-4 during two weeks of twelve hours shifts in GE, during the whole Beirut thing. Not to mention repairing the Hydrualic systems, Pre flight & Post flight checks, all the while in full chem gear.
Can’t argue that one, but to say, ask someone who has been in actual combat, think they enjoyed seeing an F4 destroy half an advancing force thats bearing down on their position?
Taking an F16 directly into the face of SAM sites, getting shot down, having to maneuver through enemy territory by yourself, might make one a tad late for dinner.
Don’t know what Air Force boot you went to but this wasn’t mine. There were no bikes and yes it was 8 weeks, followed by 13 weeks of Tech school.
Marine Boot is physically tough, but then again taking a pure civilian and getting his head into a military frame of mind makes all the boots difficult.

Who signs up so YOU can be free?

Every MAN and Woman who has ever raised their hand and took that oath, regardless of service, who pledges to LAY DOWN THIER OWN life.
You are so clueless, You have no idea the of the round the clock shifts, ass busting work me and many like me have worked. No clue of the amount of birthdays and holidays my family missed. You who were getting your mom to wipe your ass and blow your nose while I was in Spain, Germany, and Egypt repairing Aircraft to fly sorties so that you could talk that shit! I would much perfer you to just say thanks and shut the hell up!
No thanks, I’ll watch over my own family better than you can, thank you very much. Do the Marines have a tough life, yep they are defiantly bad asses, who get and deserve my respect. I would not Dis-Respect any one who has, or is, serving this country. The jobs are very different but each important to the safety of the nation.
But do not sit there and tell me that I have not served my country. Don’t tell me because I had a better food and a cleaner room, that my sacrifices do not count. I help to guard American skies, I went when my country called me, I have been there and done that, and I would do it again.
My offer still stands. Come find out for yourself.
Fly, Fight and Win!
