My first dentist as an adult gave me a gold crown that would come loose and had to be re-glued every. single. year. This was a “reputable” place in NYC with an office in Rockefeller Center.
When I moved to CA, my second dentist was the friend of my buddy (who gave the dentist free medical advice). He re-glued my (again) loose gold crown and it has stayed on for over a decade.
My most recent foray (another state) into a dental office that had rave reviews on Yelp resulted in a recommendation for (2 or 3 can’t remember) root canals due to “issues” spotted on my x-rays. I said no thanks, I’ll place my trust in the lack of symptoms -the trend is your friend as they say. Meanwhile, I had a cracked tooth plus two notably chipped teeth (old age sucks) that they brushed off. If I show symptoms and need something done, I’m definitely trekking to CA to see Dentist #2.
He was good. He didn’t want to pull the tooth and wanted me to do root canal until he went over the endodontist’s report - which showed I had a cracked root. He was kindly and efficient and built good rapport. It was a relief because the cracked root kept getting infected. My fault, I was dithering.
Yes! The new squat stands fit in my storage area. Can pull them out easily and train every day if I want. If they hadn’t fit I would have a very irritated wifey.
I’ve abandoned the powerbuilding program from Juggernaut. I don’t have three hours a day to work out. My fault; I should have reviewed the program more thoroughly.
I’m trying to do an 8s cycle, currently, but I got too aggressive with loading. I think I can do 8s with what I chose, but avoided it because it would have been harder than I wanted. So I’ll work the reps up, add sets once I get the reps and complete the cycle.

Neutral Grip Close Grip Pullups
BW 4x10
Ab wheel (knees)
4x10
Opted for more reps on pullups rather than add weight for the moment. They were pretty easy. Ab wheel was not. I need to get consistent with the ab stuff.
