Folks in the upstairs apartment have a new baby. Made an arrangement with the gym owner to store my sandbags there and let his circuit training class use them. The times I would use them coincide with the times the baby should be sleeping.

In 1991 I was living in Pittsburgh. A neighbor was doing some work on his home. He dropped a bucket off a ladder and woke up our newborn. It was hot out and our window was open. The noise woke up our baby. You could hear him crying from a mile away.
The neighbor knocked on our door to apologize. I was so impressed by his kindness.

Nah, the wife and I bitch about them all the time - I call them Thunderfoot and Screechy - but no reason to take it out on a new arrival on the planet.
Thatās sorta the situation. I spend a lot of time alone in a thinky job and donāt go out much when Iām off, so itās like being in a foreign land to me.
Tweaked my back putting the 150 lb sandbag in the trunk. Picked and front walked it all the way out to the car in the parking lot no problem and twanged it doing a slight twist and throw into the trunk.
And then the gym was closed for Easter (duh, me).
Might be okay by tomorrow, but I doubt it. Hope they have a dolly at the gymā¦
Iāve actually taken a step back on the poundages trying to work speed and volume. I want to work back up to prior poundages, but at volume and with quickness.
Been two days on my back waiting for the muscles in my back to release.
I hate this, but itās my own fault. Iāve been doing everything out of the gym wrong: Not enough sleep, not enough food, not enough water, no mobility work on off days, etc, etc.
Back has stopped spazzing.
Donāt think Iāve lost much from 6 days off lifting. Itās kinda like a deload and I havenāt taken more than 3 days off since last October anyway.
DLs tomorrow, but Iāll see how it feels as I warm up. Donāt want it spazzing again.
Thatās all I had in me. Didnāt lose anything, but I had to work hard just to stay even with last time. Slight improvement in my CGBP setup and form, so got another set of 4 today.

I often wonder if the ā quality ā of calories really matter.
Calories surplus weight gain. Deficit lose weight. Train with weights build muscle at caloric neutral or surplus.
High āquality ā calories usually leaves me with more satisfaction after eating. Steak vs. the Golden Arches ( which I like).
