It just means we can only call Inception a very good movie right now. We can call it a classic later.

Maybe you can call it a classic later. But then again maybe it won’t wear very well with time. Know what I mean?
Basically, for the purposes of my OP, “classics” referred to those films that EVERYONE has seen.
If you’re under 21 and you saw it in the theater, it’s not a classic.
