I haven’t counted these last two weeks as I’ve had to Frankenstein the workouts so much
Will not be training tomorrow.
National boss has been making me bar hop around Melbourne for the last few hours before dinner.

A fortnight out from the academy, and I don’t think I’ve been more motivated to smoke these workouts
I fucking sent it this morning.
10 rounds
5 squat 120kg
5 hip thrust 120kg
10 KB swings 32kg
10 toe to bar
Rest 90 sec
That rest felt like 10 seconds on the last couple rounds. Went beltless on the squat and definitely felt that in my core towards the end. Everything under my ribcage got a thrashing today lol

I feel like you would enjoy kettlebell sport just for the pure suck of it.
If you’re ever feeling like you just need to have some pain try any of these with a 16, 20 or 24 kg bell:
Double kb jerk from the rack position for 10 minutes, bells must not be set down until complete. You may rest with the bells overhead or in the rack
Single kb snatch for 10 minutes, only one hand switch, bell cannot be set down until complete. You may rest with the bell overhead
Double kb clean (from the hang) and jerk for 10 minutes, bells cannot be set down until complete. You may rest in the rack or overhead.

Gross. My HR was maxed out on my conditioning today and it only lasted for 5:30. Afterwards, it occured to me that a guy could double it and did it all again. I quickly followed that thought with a new one - F that!
Well. What a workout.
Part 1
20 strict press 40kg (PR, no bar drops)
500m row (1:49 PR)
20 push press 50kg 1 drop
500m row 2:01
20 push jerk 60kg 2 drops
500m row 2:10
20 push press 50kg 1 drop
500m row…about an hour…
20 strict press 40kg 1 drop
Part 2: 4 rounds
1 min hammer curl
1 min skull crushers
1 min rest
Part 3: 100 reverse curl for time 20kg
Sent my fucking soul on that first row. Long arms, short torso & short legs, good for squats/chins/Deads…not so good for rowing
Still, consistency ought to bring the rest of the intervals up and I think I’m getting the hang of pulling longer strokes rather than a billion short ones
The academy is truly getting the best me, physically and mentally. I’m ready.
