Yeah it’s 15-11-9 but weighted chins and heavier thrusters, 62.5kg and 20kg I think

How was Hulk?
Yeah enjoyable, would have liked the full 20 min experience. Need to pace it a little slower to last, take 1 minute for reps and 1 for rest, I was pushing the reps out in 45 sec and it was probably going to make me fatigue
My lack of mental toughness makes me spread the reps out ![]()
I looked at the Invictus website after yesterday’s workout and some people got six rounds of the WOD where I fell short of three rounds lol
It’s always like that though, you’ll find wods that you can just ace compared to other people, I suspect anything involving rowing and deadlifts given your frame
I also highly doubt you have a lack of mental toughness, given your career and also coming back from injury
Thanks! Maybe it’s selective mental toughness. I’m forcing myself to be uncomfortable so it’s easy to slow down.
Today’s workout was much better but I was limited by the push ups. No slacking; I just hit failure.
Felt like pressing some volume today, so I did.

2b. Band pull aparts 4 sets - Db lat raise 3 sets
4a. Snatch grip high pulls 3 sets
4b. Db curls 3 sets - Finisher: 15-11-9

Key note, I’ve felt like a steak Tuesday night, I ate one, I felt good. I also ate steak again for lunch and then grass fed Angus burgers for dinner.
Today I felt as hard and thick as I’ve ever felt. I may just keep meat back in. I’m not trying to bullshit anyone, but after a year without meat I didn’t feel sick or lethargic from eating it like some people say they do, in fact my body felt like it was on steroids today. This is purely anecdotal of course, but I suspect the large hit of satural fat and iron had something to do with it.

Tried Hulk tonight. Round 5 was where the momentum started to swing in Hulk’s favor. I got TKO’d after 7 rounds. Might’ve made it if I could’ve done hang cleans…or used less weight.
I was hanging in there with the reps but they were taking too long. My quads were starting to tremble on the catch.
Wow even from the distance it’s easy to see that those steaks have just transformed into rock hard slabs of lean mass on your body!
But seriously, good on you for not letting your choices become your identity.
I realised I’d be a fool not to run Sb 911 again, it worked great, I enjoyed it and I got results. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it, plenty of room to switch it up a bit too. See how I go second time round. Seen me on the salads now watch me on the steaks

- Squats, work to a heavy 5-7 reps. Hit 180kg for 6 in sleeves. Big big PR. 75% sure I had a 7th rep so I left it at 6. Very happy
- BB reverse lunges 3x8 60kg
- DB RDL 3x10 40kg dbs
- Rkc plank, 2 sets of 8x10 sec holds (tense 10, relax 10)
- Rowing, 3x500m sprints W 1 min rest.
