UnKillable Kleinhound 2: This time he's more unkillable-er

Of note top HR today during circuit hit 185bpm
After chins

That’s a 35 year old’s age predicted max. You have room for improvement!

Great post mate. Missed this as well. Thanks to @flappinit for bringing it to my attention

Reminds me of a similar paradigm shift I experienced when my old man passed away with the big C

40min LSS

Another improvement

Sat on 9.5kph untill the last 10 minutes and then say on 10kph

Still very slow but way up from sitting on 8.5 to keep HR in zone

SV seemingly improving.

Slower than yesterday but due to only 5.5 hrs sleep due to pulling OT on a no bail arrest plus a quick shift turn around

Get it done

Missed yesterday due to packing up the house.
2x30 today SE circuit with minimal rest. 14 min 20 sec. Pretty spent

Did 6 minutes plank/shank afterwards
That’s just TBB speak for plank/back extension iso hold superset. 45 seconds each with 15 seconds to change

Big move?

It’s still NYE here (2124 hrs to be exact). I just finished three half slices of pecan and pumpkin pie with whipped cream. I also just opened another beer. :beers:

The wife and I are shutting down the drinking in January so we have to finish our stock tonight!

And to you and the family boss

Only a short window to run today prior to family time (you know, the important stuff)

Did treadmill beep test
Went good, HR stayed in aerobic until level 17.5 (could not get this far on normal beep at all)

Then jogged it out to 5k
By that point HR crept a bit into lactic for a couple minutes

I’m struggling to keep up with these HR zones. What’s the aerobic range and lactic threshold range? I’m just now starting to understand the zones.

For me, aerobic is between 125-152bpm
Lactic goes up to about 180
Above that is max territory

Lactic indicates that lactic threshold and you can’t go long in that range. If you can keep going then I say you’re good. If you’re running that high then you’re just a beast!

My fancy new watch let’s me program workouts including HR zones or ranges. It buzzes while I run. I haven’t figured out if it’s buzzing because I’m in range or out of range, though.

Haha think positive my man, obviously because you’re in range

I’ve only used it for one workout and I started too fast. Everything after that was me just trying not to stop. I just looked and I think I was under my target of zone 4. I was supposed to run 90 sec in that zone and there’s no way I can do that right now.

120-150 - engine size
150 + - Brake horsepower

This to be fair is a simplification however you get the jist
