Uninformed Gymgoers!

I have a fucked up muscle in my shoulder and neck at the moment from a random gym dickhead.

I was doing heavy rack pulls and this deadshit is mucking around with his friends off to one side. Anyway, just as I lift, he takes about three quick steps backwards and I end up catching his ass with the end of the barbell. The last thing I needed at that stage was an extra 200lbs of weight popped onto one side of the bar mid-lift. The bar drops and I’m swearing like a pirate.

I can tell that my shoulder is fucked up straight away. I look over at this victim and he is giggling with his mates about what had just happened.

So I walk over to them, one arm gripping my shoulder, and kick this deadshit in the balls. He dropped like a sack of spuds, and his three friends just stood there like stunned mullets. I picked up my bag and walked out, leaving them and the gym staff with these stupid looks on their faces.

I haven’t seen them since.

I was working out at a Power House Gym and this guy is doing Bench press. He warms up with 135, then proceeds to put 225 on and perform 2 or 3 horrible reps. Well here is where it gets good he puts 315 on the bench and stands by it for a little while looking around, then sits on the bench with head down stretching. Then he gets up, goes to the bathroom comes back and removes the weight after everyone got a good look at the weight on the bar. Not once did he perform the exercise with that weight.

You should’ve kicked his friend’s nuts in too
hopefullly you’ll recover soon man

What I like to do is put 225 on the bar, do a few reps, then put 2 more plates on each side so I have 405 on the bar. Then, I lay back down and roll the bar back to hit the back of the “hangers” of the bench (the things that hold the bar)so it seems like I just got done doing a set, so, when people look over, they think I just did 405. LOL!!

haha I cracked up when I read this. You could be killed or WORSE! What would be worse than being killed?

Anyway I’m guessing the newbie referred to in the first post had just finished reading Pete Cisco’s lazy-man training philosophy (with all his constant babbling about how his 8 year old daughter can “leg press” 1000 lbs.) and decided to do some mega-intense static contraction training
