Has anyone noticed that Obama looks nothing at all like his purported father?
Please god let this turn into another nutty conspiracy theory.
I know what you mean. Did you see this column by Amir Taheri discussing how Muslims view Obama as one of them? The conspiracy theorists are everywhere! Now, even a lot of Muslims see him as a Muslim!
Of course, you regard Obama’s known associations with Weathermen terrorists, antisemites, racists, and mobsters to be conspiracies as well.

Please get back to explaining how you discovered his dad is not really his dad… it’s much more fun. Your constant appeals to bigotry as tiresome.
“Bigotry,” in Leftspeak, is “anything I don’t agree with or that refutes my worldview.” I point out what’s in Obama’s book, his racism, his associations with terrorists, and it’s “bigotry!”
If it’s so tiresome dealing with my “bigotry,” why do you keep doing it? It’s almost like you can’t help it, sort of like how a dog returns to its vomit.
Come on mate, explain these insightful theories for me. Teach me how Obama’s dad really isn’t his dad. If you could, explain how you came to this knowledge as well.
Or, I suppose if you’re in the mood, go ahead and describe for me, in detail, how the half-white man raised by his white grandparents is really a horrible racist. Or hell, explain how he’s secretly a muslim for me one more time.
Sure, your appeals to bigotry and throwing around the word “RACIST” are tiring, but a man has to be entertained somehow, right? Let’s hear some DETAILS!

By the way, read Ellison yet?
Who said that Obama’s dad wasn’t really his dad? Can you provide the exact quote? Because all I have seen is someone making an observation.
Does making an observation now qualify as a conspiracy theory?

Using the term “racist” is descriptive of what Barack “Tighter and tighter coils of rage” Obama is. That’s what you call a guy who goes to a church where whitey is preached against and racial antagonisms are cultivated. This entire thread is replete with details, as is “Dreams from my Father” (read that yet?), but you keep screaming, “Bigot!” and asking for details. It’s not my fault you can’t be bothered to read the details we’ve provided and that you continue to respond to your imagination, not what I’ve written.

I never called you a bigot, I said you’re appealing to bigotry. A smart man like you can probably figure out the difference.
Hell you started a whole thread about a book you’ve, apparently, not read.
The article was about two books, actually. It was a comparison and contrast between “Dreams from my Father: A story of Race and Inheritance” and “Invisible Man.” You keep bringing up “Invisible Man” for some unknown reason, even though it wasn’t written by Obama and Obama embraces much of what Ellison rejected. I happen to have read “Invisible Man” in the 11th grade. Forgive me if it’s not fresh in my memory, it’s been over 10 years. Why you keep bringing up only one book, when there were two mentioned in the article on the other thread, probably indicates why any sort of discussion is impossible with you.
This is a guy who believes Obama’s mistake in the Rev. (Can’t trust a white) Wright deal, was that he distanced himself from Wright’s church. There’s no point even responding to someone like that.

I think of Obama’s pastor as the “Rev.” Jeremiah “white folks’ greed runs a world in need” Wright. But had WRight not gone to Washington and made a fool of himself in several speeches before the press, Obama wouldn’t have distanced himself from Wright at all. Heck, he donated $53,000 to Wright’s “church” between 2005 and 2007, no doubt helping to add some finery to Wright’s 10,000 square foot mansion next to whitey.

The whole thread was an appeal to bigotry and you know it. When I questioned your motives (one of the first posts I believe) you never bothered to respond. Nor did you once talk about the comparisons or contrasts between the texts. If the thread was honestly about the texts, why didn’t you talk about it? Want to compare and contrast the texts? Go for it, I honestly doubt your capacity for that level of discussion.
You call for civility in one thread, then appeal to bigotry and imply conspiracies in the next. Comedy gold.
But you’re funnier when you’re being completely absurd, particularly when you imply bizarre things… please, continue providing comedy for me. The more “serious” you get the funnier it is. Perhaps you could talk of Obama’s purported mother?
Actually, it was an appeal to moral outrage. It’s the same device you use for all of your arguments, except that your moral standards are different: Obama’s attendance of an antisemitic and racist church is fine because it’s his “family.” My moral outrage was based on a desire for colorblind leadership and government policy.

“colorblind” huh? You’re morally outraged that a man born of a white mom and black dad isn’t “colorblind?” Is that right?
You shout “RACIST!”, imply his dad’s not really his dad, shout that his wife “hates whites,” start numerous threads about Obama and race, etc, etc because he acknowledges race? …Quality.
Ever think of heeding your own call to civility?
Both you and Steve Colbert “don’t see race” (apparently) so I think you’re in good company.

Any chance of reflecting on the caricature that you seem to be painting yourself as?
If not, any comedic extremism you could throw my way to help the hours pass? Perhaps you could tell me about how Obama’s grandmother hates whites? or isn’t really his grandma? Please, afterward, call for civility again as well!!11!!
