Fact check states, “Of course, it’s distantly possible that Obama’s grandparents may have planted the announcement just in case their grandson needed to prove his U.S. citizenship in order to run for president someday. We suggest that those who choose to go down that path should first equip themselves with a high-quality tinfoil hat. The evidence is clear: Barack Obama was born in the U.S.A.”

I see McCain as worse than Obama in reqards to national security. They are both horrific on the economy. They are both better than Bush overall. Statistically, they cannot be worse than Bush.

Wanna bet? The left in this country are dangerously stupid people. So willing to hand control of themselves and their families to others. I want change too, but for the better not worse. Change for the sake of change is just plain stupid.
After 80 years we still haven’t been able to undo the socialist mistakes of the Great Society. So instead of working on it we are voting to make it worse. We do of course deserve what we get.
When republicans controlled everything they did nothing, so now we are going to elect democrats who will do worse than nothing. They are going to enact their great socialist agenda so we can join the ranks of Cuba, China and Venezuela.
I can’t wait…should be fun.
I love being told what to do and when to do it by people who could give a fuck if I live or die.
The overwhelming majority of Jews are voting for Obama as well, despite the anti-semitism of Wright and the affiliation of Wright’s church with FArrakhan, another anti-semite. I think we’re getting the leadership we deserve this election.

I’m not sure it’s just the left, but whatever.

Which show that people just refuse to think. Just like my neighbor down the street. She is voting for Obama, because she is a democrat. She is a democrat because her family are democrats. They are democrats because they are New England Catholics and that is what they do. They are required to love the Red Sox and vote democrat. I am so glad the Sox lost!!!
There’s less thinking that goes on in this forum than anyplace else I’ve ever seen. Does anybody here tossing around the word “socialist” even know what it means?
I think it’s ironic T-Nation tries so hard to play up the “intelligence” of this site and its members.
Well don’t worry, things will get better for you too under the next administration, even though you won’t appreciate it or even acknowledge it. There is always a large group of people that must be dragged kicking and screaming toward progress.

There are intelligent threads here on occasion. I wouldn’t bother too much with it at the moment though - PWI always goes rabid before an election. Time to take a holiday from it until we can home in on gay marriage again.

PS: And, wrt to ‘socialism’ - yes, most people here never have experienced real socialism and the its use as a buzz word shows they know fuck all about it. That doesn’t deter is usage - see my main paragraph for an explanation.
