I don’t know about a commie. I think you could succesfully run these villages under the old american system of government. In reality the government could be very small, they would not be overseeing all the things they do now. You are growing your own food locally, so No FDA. You will be educating you kids locally so No Education Dept. Almost everything would be handled at the local level by a local government, kinda like exactly how the founding fathers wanted it to be done.
But yes whatever you want to call it, this is where I would want to live. Remember this would be an ideal way to keep humans alive and healthy, this is why people work in todays world, so they can provide food and shelter for thier families. The rest of the stuff is extra, and most people take it for granted that in some possible scenarios they could actually be faced with having no food. I think people would be able to use current structures to make enough shelter for everyone in a real catastrophie, but hey, maybe not.
