My tastes mainly lean mainstream, so it’s no shock that a lot of the underground guys I like look like they’ll be hitting big soon, but there are a few that would fit in this thread.

Ski Beatz is a seriously underrated producer. If he had more work with some of rap’s all time greats there is no doubt he’d be mentioned alongside guys like Primo, Pete Rock, etc. He puts his own twist on that kind of sound, too.

I personally believe he is. Although he was nominated for a Grammy, that was only because of a movie. Without that, I doubt anybody would even know who he is.
