As a native North Carolinian…what?s the word and scuttlebutt on “Tobacco Road” about Roy Williams taking over the coaching job at Carolina? (I have to tell you…I’m like a kid at Christmas waiting to see some classic Wars between him and Coach K.!)
Also…what’s the status of Matt Dougherty? Do they think that a College will pick him up as a coach, or have they already?

From what I’ve heard, Dougherty will be an analyst for a year, then prolly return to coaching.
Okay…I know there are a lot more people on this Forum with views from Tobacco Road!

The heat has JUST been turned up on “Tobacco Road”, folks…and NOT in basketball…
It looks like Miami may…MAY join the ACC…with the POSSIBILITY of Syracuse and Boston College (Some are pushing for Virginia Tech instead of BC).
The ACC has already agreed to a 3-team expansion…now the Politics begin!
