Cute and Cool, but fake. “Viral Marketing” from Gatorade.
That wasn’t fake! I was at that game! I saw it with my own two eyes
I dig those Gatorade commercials.
holy fuck, lol
Oh goody, an opportunity to toot my own horn
I once made a circus catch like that (a real one). I went up about 13 or 14 feet to bring back a HR ball. I cleated the chainlink fence and pulled with my free arm to get up that high. Just about everyone there told me it was the greatest catch they ever saw.
Funny thing is I don’t think it was my best play ever, since I had time to time it. My best play ever was on a low rocket of a line drive. I had an instant reaction, took the perfect line and picked the low skipping ball at a full sprint. I turned a double or a triple into a single and I don’t think one person even said “nice play”. But, at least I know how great I am, I mean how great it was.

I once went up 15 or 16 feet to bring back a grand-slam ball. True story.
I made the barest hop and managed to deflect the ICBM that would have kicked off WW3. I didn’t get thanked or anything. But it’s all good.
