whats not to understand? A 18yo guy has far more natural test then a 18yo girl. This will result in the guy having a much greater anabolic potential then a female. Not trying to come off as sexist but its science…
So true!I remember when I was 18, taking my 16YO brother to the gym and watching him muscle up like magic, whilst I continued to struggle.
I imagine he felt just as much envy towards me; I have always had beautiful skin, whilst he really struggled with acne and needed medication for it. It’s all about the testosterone, great for the body, bad for the face.
BTW, just for a little comparison, this is me before I started on the Anabolic Diet:
As far as calories are concerned, I think I must have a freakish metabolism, or maybe it’s just the diet. I’m 5’8, not overly tall, but I started the AD on 18+TBW(120lb)=2160. I was gaining a little strength, but steadily losing weight.
My boyfriend was worried about me, cos you could see all of my ribs, thru my back and thru my sternum. In the gym, when I would wear a crop-top, I could see the trainers looking at me with concern.
If I had PMS, I would be sorely tempted to front one of them and say, “DOGAMMIT, I am NOT anorexic! I probably eat more than you do! Kindly turn your attention to your client, who is paying you by the hour!”
So I bumped up the calories time and time again. I was on 3’500 before I even started to gain. People can scoff at the metabolic advange of a low-carb diet, but I am living proof. On past experience, if I ate 2,500 cals and high carbs, I would be flabby and miserable.

Great potential, but one more tip is work on your outer-quad development. Try standing with your feet closer together on squats and leg press. Really squeeze your quads on leg extensions too.
