Uh-oh...the dreaded desk job!

My new job pretty much has me confined to a desk all day long, and it’s definitely having an effect on my weight loss. Since I’ve been back in the game (fourth week this week), the weight has come off VERY, VERY slowly even with a rock-solid diet (Winning Formula), MD6/original T2, and 5x5 w. Running Man on the off-days.

I’ve never had any problems whatsoever cutting in the past. My previous job wasn’t overly physical, but I was moving around more. Anyone else experienced this? I’ve thought about upping my exercise frequency a bit but definitely don’t want to overdo it…maybe going for a walk or riding my mountain bike around more. I’ve also modified my diet to keep my meals during the workday much smaller than my meals around exercise to see if this makes a difference.

All thoughts are appreciated…thanks!

take the stairs and park far away. That and work on your posture all day long. Suck in your abs, tighten your back and sit high. It’s hard to do that all day.

spank your monkey under the desk periodically. according to my calculations, if you spank it 3x per day that is an extra 415 cals expended per day. doesnt sound like much but add that up over the course of a week or a month. we are talking some serious calorie expenditure here.

its worked great for me so far.

I was in a similar situation, and what really helped was to take a walk and stretch during my breaks.

abs while your sitting - yeah

stairs are a good idea

Improvise

I found a pipe outside the building I did chins on etc…

it all makes the day go by faster too

best of luck
