Something that has happened a few times at my clinic is that we will have guys who have been using UGL Testosterone and consistently these guys have historically pinned 250mg a week of Test, can’t validate easily if it’s Test C / E but expect C more often than not. 250mg/ml seems to be the consistent potency on UGL Testosterone, whereas 200mg/ml is what you see (all I have ever seen) in legit pharma Test C. I think so many guys pin 250mg a week bc 1ml is an easy round number and for lack of any other support information would seem the logical amount to self dose.
Guys will start with us after qualifying for TRT, and we may start them at something like 160 - 200mg based on various factors. Without fail, these guys have given feedback after a few weeks that the prescribed Pharma Test C hits harder than the UGL testosterone and that they feel the effects more prominently, even though the dosage is less.
This is mostly antidotal but I’m wondering if people on here (I have never taken UGL Testosterone) have had the same experience regarding the efficacy of the two? I have also noticed that the carrier oil differences between different script pharmacies makes a difference too in terms of the side effects profile and absorption rate, which is interesting
I have used both UGL and Prescribed test at the same dosage. I noticed no difference in the way i felt or no difference in bloodwork. I’m thinking the guys who are raving about the pharma test were taking garbage prior or it’s in their head.
UGL labs have gotten very good at what they do. Unless your buying from the guy bro making his own i would venture to say the UGL test is just as good as the “pharma” test.
Pharmaceutical grade is almost always better than UGL. UGL is often underdosed compared to the stated amount, even though many UGLs have gotten very good.
Testosterone is quite reliable with UGLs, but others such as Primobolan are frequently, significantly underdosed or even Masteron instead of actual Primobolan. Anavar 5mg pharma is often better than 25mg UGL anavar.
@GAINSBYIG do you know how accurately dosed a pharmacy prescription has to be to it’s prescribed potency?
I know a few sources that frequently post HLCP results within 5% of target dose.
I think there is very little difference between the two, except that Pharma grade is more pippy from stabilizing agents. I can verify this personally.
It certainly isn’t worth the price difference of paying a pharmacy some $200 for 10mL of test when I could get the same thing for $20.
Even if it were underdosed, it costs 1/10th the pharma price, if not less.
