I see an interim HW championship bout in the near future. A grand prix would be better 
With Nog, Brock, and Carwin out, the only fight I can see is Dos Santos vs. Cain for the Interim since Mir and Rothwell lost recently.
Well…they are the only two HWs on a roll of any sort. Only other HW’s with an upside right now are probably Pat Barry and that Stefan Struve kid. Of course Duffee is also out(but I think his bandwagon is too early anyways).
This situation shows just how shallow the HW division really is right now. They might have to throw some of these newer guys like Duffee,Struve,Barry,etc to the wolves. Some of them might even surprise us.
Barry just got subbed quick two fights ago, we all know he can strike but his grappling needs serious work if he wants to continue.

I agree…but that doesn’t negate the bigger point I was making. He is one of those guys that can help carry the HW division until the top contenders heal up. Only other guys they have are Kongo,Mir,Velasquez,and Dos Santos.
We’re already having Mir vs. Kongo soon…and Velasquez vs. Dos Santos is floating around since Nog’s staph was announced.
Who else is there?
