The size of the U.S. military force in Iraq has reached nearly 162,000 troops, the largest American presence at any point during the 52 months of the war, Pentagon officials said Tuesday.

…and you end with quite a staggering figure - not to mention all the taxpayers’ money.
Besides “misplacing” weapons, these efforts haven’t achieved that much.
I believe the US military is quite stretched at this point. How do they plan on keeping this up? Is there any plan at all? Or is it more like an exorbitantly expensive trial-and-error approach? Anybody knows?
Fiat money. How do you think we planned on conquering the world, back in 1913 (when our Federal Reserve was created)? Gold forces governments to be sane — if you keep blowing it on wars, you might run out.
