What do the by-laws of the worker co-op say?
Is a worker co-op not more democratic than a typical ESOP? The members of a worker co-op have direct ownership. ESOP’s are still very hierarchal. Even if a worker co-op has a B of D and management, they are put there by the member owners and can be fired by the member owners. The workers hire and fire the management, not the other way around.
For most there is suffering but not for all. If the power structure is left in place then misery will continue. Now who do you think doesn’t want things to change? And what lengths will they go to, to make this happen?

Money can be made off the strengthening or weakening of the dollar. So it is a moot point that you make.

Have you or anyone else made money off the dollar strengthening in the past? If so, then it’s partially because that Boeing and other large capitalist corporations that export many goods contributed to your ability to do so.

Property interest in both functions the same. Again, coop by-laws do not override property rights.
If I own 5% of the company via shares under a coop, I can sell said shares. Coop might have a right of first refusal, but they cannot stop me from selling or assigning those shares to someone else or using them for collateral, which could be defaulted to the lender.
They also cannot stop my descendants from inheriting them unless they pay for them and the descendant agrees to sell them.
Shares can be forced to be sold in both ESOPS and COOPS by majority under certain conditions.

And if capitalist corporations ceased to exist could the U.S. not export goods? The Forex market trades trillions of dollars a day. It dwarfs the stock exchange. If Boeing ceased to exist nothing would change.
