Okay so my girlfriend wants me to ask this question.
She is interested in trying fat burners, one specifically contains Tyrosine as the key ingredient.
She heard (not sure wehre) that this might negatively effect the birth control pill. Does anyone have scientific info on this? I googled it but with no luck.
I’ve never heard of a fat burner effecting a contraceptive… unless you’re using it for lube or something. Now THAT would be a unique application process.
I wont jump your shit and say “OMG MAKE HER WORKOUT NOT TAKE PILL” but I do have to say if she’s not already on a clean diet/exercise program, thats gonna be the best way of losing weight. If she’s just looking to accelerate her program, discard this statement.

…and tyrosine as a fat burner is not effective.
If a fat burner is centered around this ingredient she’s not going to get what she wants of out it.
Tyrosine is a noo-tropic (brain enhancer) which is actually a very good caffiene replacement in regards to mental aspect (it is void of the positive fat burning effects of caffiene).
Supp companies put tyrosine in thier mixes to elevate mood and enhance brain function which makes a person feel good.
Most fat burners make you bitchy.
