Typical Dumbass People (I'm Venting)

No seriously… Stinger had a fucking point. I mean I could understand if your fucking going pro…But to come on here and complain that people want you to “get crazy” with them is fucking lame…You are probably not the type of person I would like to hang with…I mean if you can’t go out with the body you got now after all this none cheat meal and constantly on a diet you will continue to have no social life and probably be the same dull person you are now… It is a fucking give and take pal…

Shit I mean I go out and drink water with my boys while they drink at the local bar or club, But guess what shit head I’m still out with them…I go out to fucking bullshit with the guys and fucking let loose with what I been thinking about all week… I see you as being a fucking tight ass wound up tighter than a virgin in a prom dress that will goo off on anyone that looks at you funny…Yet for some reason these people still are interested in what you’re doing and “harasse” you to go to lunch…And when I say this I mean it…I wish we could all be so lucky!

Seriously you better be fucking going pro within the next few years or your going to look back an say it was not worth it.

Here you go

Looks like a lot of people do it.

Where in my post did I say I NEVER go out to eat? I go to work bring my fucking lunch and eat it everday and people get on my nerves after hearing the same stupid shit everyday. That’s it. But some of you are turning it into - I don’t have a social life, I wouldn’t want to hang out with you, blah blah, how the hell would you know that unless you actually met me in person? Seriously. If you think you know my entire personality and character from one “venting” post, then I wouldn’t want to hang out with you because you are so fucking judgemental.

I never said I don’t have a social life or I don’t go out and have fun, damn, some of you guys responding are making way to many assumptions, you’re adding things to my story that I never said. I said I don’t eat out alot which means I don’t do what other people do and spend tons of cash eating crappy food EVERYDAY. Also, when I do get invited, I don’t literaly just say “fuck off” or get mad, the people who invite me do so followed by the same repetitive comments. I don’t react, that is what the original post was for - to vent.

Oh ya, where did I ever say I don’t “ever” have a cheat meal? Matter of fact, where did I ever even talk about cheat meals and how I go about eating them? Assumptions, assumptions.

Most of my “social life” however revolves around my wife and two daughters. I’m a family guy, so going out and getting drunk isn’t my thing -

I know, I know, what a loser I am…

I try to ignore the idiots in this world, but after awhile, it’s hard to take. Even from friends.

First example is at work, I bring my meals in everyday. I’m pretty strict with my diet, I don’t eat out alot. Usually chicken, beef, brown rice, oatmeal, broccoli, etc. All the people in the office are always making comments and laughing about what I eat while they’re eating hamburgers, french fries, enchaladas, etc. It just gets so fucking annoying! They are all fat and out of shape and have absolutely no concept of what it means to want to improve your body and take care of yourself. It’s always, “hey man, you want to go with us to Jimboys, oh wait he doesn’t eat that stuff, come on splurge just this once, be wild and crazy for a change man!!!”. This coming from a 30 year old fat guy with the cholesterol of a 50 year old. Jesus Christ people, don’t you get it? I look this way because I am dedicated, I don’t want to look like you!! Fuck off!

Another example, anytime my name comes up in a conversation, all the guys start doing their impersonation of me by talking in an Arnold Schwarzenneger voice because I weight train. Maybe I just work with a bunch of very stupid people. I always say, you know guys, there are other people in the world that weight train and eat healthy. I know its all in good fun but damn, every fucking day? I wish I could find friends that have the same interests and dedication as me, it would be great. All my work friends are smokers and get drunk every weekend, and they are in their 30’s. I’m 27 and have never been into drugs, smoking, etc. I’ve been training and eating like this since I was 17.

I get phrases like, “you’re anti-social, you’re too serious, you’re angry”. These phrases get thrown at me all the time because I don’t go out with friends from work. It’s not that I don’t want to hang out. It’s that I don’t want to hang out and drink, eat fast food, and be fucking stupid. Not only that but it interferes with MY LIFESTYLE.

If I pull out some protein powder, all the guys go “oh time for some steroids!”, and then everyone starts lauging. I just think to myself, you people are just lost, truly lost. If I mention anything about my wife, they’ll paint this picture of me being an overbarring, controlling maniac who doesn’t let his wife eat unhealthy foods. All this because I WEIGHT TRAIN??? UN-FUCKING BELIEVABLE. Weight training turns you into a brainless, abusive, psychopath according to them.

I guess this is the only place that I can come to and read, where people actually understand what it means to be dedicated to your health and training.

I do realize that most of this bizarre behavior stems from them feeling inferior as men because they are lazy pathetic skinny or fat guys, but I don’t go out of my way to tell them that they fucking suck. Yet they feel the need to go out of there way to tell me how I’m weird because of what I do. It’s almost to the point where it’s a reverse discrimination type thing.

If you’re not twelve, just deal with it. eventually it stops.

Yes, eventually everything stops.

They’re probably insecure but that isn’t going to stop them from making you feel bad.

The only real solution is for you to leave that environment.

OP sounds anti-social, serious, and angry.

So you have no reason to care for their critisism? Then just tell them to leave you alone, forever. Find new friends, hang out with the wifey and the kids if you’re a family guy.

Ain’t nothing wrong with that, but right now you sound like an asshole. Venting posts tend to do that to the OP in general.

I’m sorry you feel that way. :frowning:

I know how this guy feels. I get it all the time, comments like “Chicken again?”, “How come you’re eating at this time, didnt you have lunch?”.

What someone has to eat in the day isn’t their business, it’s not like they ask the muslim guy if he fancies a hot dog! In an ideal world they’d understand and let you get on with it.

You could meet them half way from time to time, if you feel like, if it’s a special occasion and if it’s a cheat day.

I agree that drinking and being “fucking stupid” isnt a good idea if you got a wife and kids anyway. They dont sound like the socialable drinking types that you could just hang with.

Ya, like I said though, I have to work around it everyday. I can’t just quit my job right now.

I wrote that post at the end of a long work week so, ya, it sounds harsh. Keep in mind though, I always respect others and I’m not the type of person that goes out of my way to talk shit about somebody’s lifestyle or interests - unless they are asking for it.

I’m just looking for advice on how to respond to the Arnold voices and all the diet comments.
