Anyone know how many of these “I hate everyone” threads we have had this month already?

Where in my original post did I say I hate everyone? I don’t hate any of the people I was talking about, I hate unessasary DISRESPECT.

but why should they respect you at all? based off the OP you sound like an arrogant aggressive asshole.
You sound like a judgemental dick.

Where does arrogance come across? So in your mind if a group of people point their fingers laughing at someone because of who they are, what they are, their interests… and the person being laughed at gets irritated and calls the people pointing their fingers fat… that makes the person who is defending himself “arrogant”?

Correct me if I’m wrong please.

Well for starters they act like that because they are all jealous of you and deep down they wish they had your dedication.

Yes, I realize this. The problem is, nobody else that I work with has the same mindset/dedication, so I get bombarded with the same bullshit everday, it just gets old and that’s why I started this thread. It feels good to hear from others who have had similar situations because of their dedication.

just how “dedicated” are you? you dont exactly mind emphasising your hardcore credentials. have you competed in strongman/PL/bodybuilding/sports/martial arts or anything to a good standard?

what are your best lifts?

Most of the guys I work with are usually asking me for advice…

some of the guys at my work tease me for eating natural PB out of the jar and when i have a shot of extra virgin olive oil. But instead of getting angry for them laughing tease them back, or laugh with them.

Nearly every guy at my work eats 2min noodles lol or chips and choc from the vending machine. And there either skinny as rakes or fat. There one meso there, he eats crap but always looks good (no homo)

When i pull my meals out everyone in the lunch room just looks over to see wat im eating.

At the end of the day i dont give a fuck what they think, theres no point stressing over it mate! You know what stress does!

There cool thing is 3 guys have actually asked what they should start eating cos they want to be healthier etc…

Why are you so skeptical of everyone, always asking their numbers and shit?

How big is your cock? Mines 8 1/2 inches.

I try to ignore the idiots in this world, but after awhile, it’s hard to take. Even from friends.

First example is at work, I bring my meals in everyday. I’m pretty strict with my diet, I don’t eat out alot. Usually chicken, beef, brown rice, oatmeal, broccoli, etc. All the people in the office are always making comments and laughing about what I eat while they’re eating hamburgers, french fries, enchaladas, etc. It just gets so fucking annoying! They are all fat and out of shape and have absolutely no concept of what it means to want to improve your body and take care of yourself. It’s always, “hey man, you want to go with us to Jimboys, oh wait he doesn’t eat that stuff, come on splurge just this once, be wild and crazy for a change man!!!”. This coming from a 30 year old fat guy with the cholesterol of a 50 year old. Jesus Christ people, don’t you get it? I look this way because I am dedicated, I don’t want to look like you!! Fuck off!

Another example, anytime my name comes up in a conversation, all the guys start doing their impersonation of me by talking in an Arnold Schwarzenneger voice because I weight train. Maybe I just work with a bunch of very stupid people. I always say, you know guys, there are other people in the world that weight train and eat healthy. I know its all in good fun but damn, every fucking day? I wish I could find friends that have the same interests and dedication as me, it would be great. All my work friends are smokers and get drunk every weekend, and they are in their 30’s. I’m 27 and have never been into drugs, smoking, etc. I’ve been training and eating like this since I was 17.

I get phrases like, “you’re anti-social, you’re too serious, you’re angry”. These phrases get thrown at me all the time because I don’t go out with friends from work. It’s not that I don’t want to hang out. It’s that I don’t want to hang out and drink, eat fast food, and be fucking stupid. Not only that but it interferes with MY LIFESTYLE.

If I pull out some protein powder, all the guys go “oh time for some steroids!”, and then everyone starts lauging. I just think to myself, you people are just lost, truly lost. If I mention anything about my wife, they’ll paint this picture of me being an overbarring, controlling maniac who doesn’t let his wife eat unhealthy foods. All this because I WEIGHT TRAIN??? UN-FUCKING BELIEVABLE. Weight training turns you into a brainless, abusive, psychopath according to them.

I guess this is the only place that I can come to and read, where people actually understand what it means to be dedicated to your health and training.

I do realize that most of this bizarre behavior stems from them feeling inferior as men because they are lazy pathetic skinny or fat guys, but I don’t go out of my way to tell them that they fucking suck. Yet they feel the need to go out of there way to tell me how I’m weird because of what I do. It’s almost to the point where it’s a reverse discrimination type thing.
Don’t let them bother you. Just be a good example. Don’t do as some others said and call them fat. Don’t go eat with them unless you want to. When they make comments about your food, use the opportunity to tell them how your meal and eating plan benefit you. If you hold the banner high enough, people will follow.

I have been in similar situations at the office, they would have donuts every morning and I always brought my own lunch. I would always be teased about it etc…But I wouldn’t really call it “ridiucle” though… There is a saying that goes “If they mess with you, that means they like you”. Think, at least they are noticing your efforts. I think that would be way better than just being ignored.

May I suggest that instead of letting it get to you so much, try having some fun with it instead? Whenever I got accused of being a health nut, or whatever, I would always say something funny about it. For instance if someone said to me “try a donut, they are fresh” I would say “no thanks, I’m trying to keep my girlish figure”. Everyone gets a laugh, and you don’t feel like you are being ostracized. Instead, you are dealing with it with humor, and everyone loves a guy that can make fum of himself.

Don’t take yourself so seriously, it’s OK to have some fun with it. Humor is the best way of dealing with any situation.

Ya, sometimes if it’s just me and one of them (not a group), they’ll come up and ask me a question about their diet. Stop eating big mac’s is what I tell them.

Ya I know EXACTLY what you mean here. I pull food out and everyone is very concerned with what it is.

because you have stated multiple times here how “dedicated” you are and how you live the life of some kind of spartan warrior. you made a whole thread of “woe is me such is the plight of a noble bodybuilder!”

consequently, as your profile states youve trained for 13 years, such consistent, supreme dedication must mean you have some outstanding results. so what can you do?

That’s great advice, thanks man. I usually do try to make a joke out of it. I think the paticular people that I work with can’t help but make fun of the same shit year in and year out. This is what gets difficult sometimes, the repetition of it, sometimes I’m just not in the mood, I just want to eat my beef and broccoli without hearing people chattering about it.

I work in the bar industry and bring my lunches/dinners in tupperware and heat em up in the kitchen. My buddies all tease me and stuff to about how I rarely drink and always eat healthy. They also tease me because I tend to get a lot of positive female attention from the customers. Freinds/acquaintences will always tease you about stuff that’s different than them, its normal. Then I remind them how badly I can beat them, ala Billy Madison.

I agree with the OP that it can be annoying at times, but it seems like you are letting it get to you way too much. Take a deep breath, relax, and focus on your goals- and then remind them you can kill them.

Oh I see you want to assess whether or not you feel that I can label myself as dedicated.

So do I have to squat over 400 pounds in order to be dedicated? Oh shit, If you tell me that I suck because I can’t squat over 400 pounds, maybe I should just give up on weight training and diet. How dare I call myself dedicated.

Only people that do the Strongman competition are allowed to call themselves dedicated. Oh ya and spartan warriors too.

of course the numbers are a reflection of your fucking dedication! you might like to make out how youve got some weiner pussy genetics or some shit but the bottom line is if you are claiming to be super duper dedicated after 13 years of training you wouldnt have weiner pussy numbers regardless of your genetics/one leg shorter than the other/some other generic excuse.

you made a whole thread about how no one understands mr hardcore. therefore, AFTER THIRTEEN YEARS what can you do? its a perfectly reasonable question.

I just flex and make sounds like bombs going off like “BOOM!” and “Pcrrrrr” when guys at work raz me.

The never actually raz me, but I do the goofy shit anyways for no reason. Most of our conversations at work revolve around one legged squats, developing speed when bringing the bar up off of the floor, and other neat shit.

Your friends at work need a beating and you are just the guy to give it to them.

Dude, you better not give stringer any numbers or post impressive pics. If you do, he’ll make a “KeepAwaySheeple, how do you train?” thread and totally be on your jock for the rest of your life.
if you are hoping that drawing stringers attention to your name by posting about him might get you onto the stringer “how do you train?” guestlist then you are correct gillium-001.

keep up the good work! you have joined the bottom of stringers list, maybe it will develop into you getting your own thread one day.

Did I say that I was super duper dedicated for 13 year straight with no interuptions? Did I say I was “mr. hardcore”?

I started this thread to get responses from people who have shared similar situations to mine. Not to prove myself worthy of you. If you have nothing to relate to the topic about, go away please. I don’t feel it necessary to share any numbers with you because you would be skeptical no matter what I say. Fuck off.
