I didn’t even know she was “fat” until this thread. I downloaded some of her songs a few weeks back and became a fan.

Think early 60’s soul or blues music mixed with R&B…only she’s white.
So a little bit of Janis Joplin sound? I can google, but work firewall blocks video etc.
I wouldn’t compare to Janis Joplin.

I think she has a great voice, but to me she sometimes sounds like she is caterwauling. My opinion is that she needs to sort of tone it down some and she would be easier to listen to.

I’m sure you have heard some of her songs as she really is everywhere.

While the beatles may have sold more albums than led zep. that makes them better? Lets consider who the vast majority of people that bought the beatles albums when they were at their biggest. young girls. They bought the albums cause they thought the guys were cute, as they do with every other boy band. The beatles made the most simplistic music to appeal to little girls. “I wanna hold your hand” are you kidding me. your going to compare that song with Kashmere(spelling is probably off) or communication breakdown. You people are insane.

Prof, x, its obvious you know very little about rock music. They have held many top rock bands of all time countdowns, and led zep wins just about every time. There are many bands that have out sold the doors, yet, couldn’t hold a candle to them musically.

It has gotten to the point, that no matter what i say, people will go against me, simply to do it. While they may agree with me, they will never admit it.

Okay now. Some really silly people in this thread.

Everyone knows that Breaking Bad is the best show of all time ever.

If we can’t agree on this, how can we agree on anything?

Your favorite show blows.
Your favorite band sucks.
You are an idiot.

Show? Bitch please. That’s my life.

I walk into my gym, and they are playing this fat chick. When they should be playing some ac/dc, black sabbath or metallica, they play music more suited to take a nap to rather than a nice hard workout. Id love to open my own gym. only hardcore people are allowed. music will only be hard rock and heavy metal. nothing else. there will be no treadmills. you want cardio, hit the heavy bag, like a man. there would be a separate room of all heavy bags. Id love to have no women allowed, but that might not go over to well. Women in gyms are nothing but a distraction. I will always be of the mind that the gym is meant for men. let women train at home with their little pink dumbells and walk at the mall. leave the gyms for men.

So that bitch broke into my house and put her shit on my IPod?

I listen to NFL radio on Sirius in the car, in the office. I get in mood for music then its Octane on Sirius.

I have been married twice and for the last 15 years, with a 16 year old daughter. I can ignore anything so if it has been playing then I just ignore it.

Carry on.

I could care less how fat Adele is.
eh, I don’t think she needed to get that fat in order to sing that well. In fact, I know a lot of singers who are just as good, who keep their weight much closer to their touring weight during the off-season and who sound just as good.

What are your thoughts on the matter…?
I think being super fat somehow causes soul singers to live longer lives.

I mean, look at Aretha Franklin. She’s still stuffing down cream filling by the truck load and still singing tough. The same goes for Patti Labelle.

The skinny ones like Whitney and even Amy Winehouse burn out quickly. Both would clearly have lasted much longer if their drug of choice was cheese-filled crust and Twinkies.

Adele will clearly live long and prosper all because she keeps buffets in business while she keeps farting out the hits.
Bro, bro, BRO. She’s on a frigging bulk, her singing just pays for her bodybuilding ffs I thought we knew this.

True I pretty much just ignore music that does not interest me. I grew up on Hank Williams Jr, Waylon Jennings, and Alabama. Now listen to KORN, NIN and Rob Zombie.

Stray Cats heard of them.
