I dont listen to Adele, but she makes great music, just not my taste.
Your daughters ipod is prob full of Drake.
My daughter doesn’t have an ipod. perhaps for her birthday. Oh, I never said, i was all that into Disturbed" i mainly just like one song. Hey, i like a song from bon jovi also. just one. As Dean Winchester once commented, bon jovi rocks, On occasion. lol.

She listens to tons of different stuff. she likes eminem, she even likes that chick thats dating justin beiber. But she also likes unforgiven by metallica. sure, not one of their heaviest of songs, but still a decent song. before they went totally mainstream. she likes a chick named rhianna, taylor swift. and tons of other people i never heard of.

I totally agree with RogueVampire, kids just listen to CRAP these days!
Now, THIS is real music…
Totally. Can you imagine how much they must HATE AC/DC?
black people tend not to know these bands. I remember years ago, i was wearing a led zep tee shirt. And these black kids had never even heard of them. They dont’ exactly play that kinda music, in the hood.
But…I watched Supernatural and everything.
OMG, but did you cry when Bobby died?
Dude…that was fucked up.
he…he was like a father.
If you watch supernatural, then you aren’t all bad. That is one kick ass show.
Whoa there RV don’t be so quick to judge! Just cause he’s watched THE GREATEST SHOW OF ALL TIME, EVER doesn’t mean he knows an AC/DC song from a Kansas song!

Also, how do you know they didn’t know? Did the kids walk up to you and ask “What’s a Led Zeppelin?” or even worse, and less believable, did you walk up to them and quiz them on your shirt???

Your daughter deserves to listen to whatever music she likes. She should be given a childhood and enjoy music, concerts and knowing more about the personal lives of any of her music idols just like anyone else her age.
I don’t even know if I should be responding to this thread seriously or not.

“Excuse me, sir? My friends and I couldn’t help but notice the word “Led” on your t-shirt was spelled incorrectly. It would seem that rather than a typographical error, it was done for a purpose, perhaps as the moniker for a musical group. Could you please shed a little light on the matter for us?”

And what’s wrong with Adele? Seriously?
You obviously have not read some of other posts here huh? If you did, you would have realized, she listens to whatever she chooses. Whats wrong with adele? Well, for me, its crap, its the kind of music I hate. Wheres the electric guitars? she sings about love and emotion. I hate that. I don’t like fluffy crap. I like heavy metal.

wow, when was the last time you heard heavy metal music playing in the hood. No more on this subject. So it is written, so it is done.
