So I’m looking for some 25 guage needles to draw into a smaller guage insulin syringe for subq injections. I’ve been looking on Amazon but am confused as to which needles are compatible with the insulin syringe for sub q. I think I want something like 30 guage for the actual injection but 25 to draw with. Anyone know the two products that are compatible?
A 27-31 gauge will do, but 27 will be easier to load, but I personally wouldn’t go beyond 29 gauge because I want to be able to load my syringe within 30 seconds. If you’re worried about the sting when you prick yourself, the 29 gauge is a good compromise between loading speed and pain.
Plus with the smaller needles you can get nodules from the higher pressure of the smaller needles.
So I could potentially load and inject with a 29 guage?
I do it everyday, anything smaller than a 29 gauge is more difficult to load and inject.
I’ve used 30g but they do take a while to load
Those of you that load with the same needle that you inject with, doesn’t it dull the needle when you draw (put it through the rubber top of the vial), or doesn’t that make much of a difference? I was shown to do it by using a different needle for drawing than injecting, so I guess I’ve just always done it that way. It would be a lot easier to just use the same needle though…
Never mattered for me. I guess 30g are so small it doesn’t make a lot of difference

I use 28g or 30g 1/2 inch needle 1CC insulin syringes. The brand is Easy touch. They seem to be the best quality and you don’t lose any T from being stuck in the syringe like the removable tip kind. You can easily back-fill them if you want to draw with a larger syringe.
Most recently purchased from here
No difference. I even re-use the needle sometimes and you can get about 3 uses before it starts to dull.
@dextermorgan wouldn’t that be dangerous for an infection?
@markis655
I’ve done shit you couldn’t even imagine and I’ve never had a serious problem. The body is extremely resilient.
I suppose you could always clean the needle afterwards to be sure also
@dextermorgan
Where do you inject?
I switch between delts each day (IM). Been doing it for a while with no issues at all.
Dude mix it up.
I do calves, delts, thighs… All 30g easy touches.
When something works I don’t mess with it
How long does it take to push the oil thru the insulin syringe? and how much are you pushing?
I do .13ml/day. I push it slow like 10 secs. It’s obvious but smaller hole = higher pressure. Takes about 15ish secs to fill (I fill to .20ml and push out to .13ml so no bubbles).
And you’re doing delts?
My glutes are starting to get harder to pin due to scar tissue. My wife is afraid to pin shoulders but I put HGH there every morning. Of course its water based
