@Mufasa here’s your girl. She talks about Obama foreign policy vs Trump foreign policy at some point in here and mentions Israel.
I’d vote for her in a heartbeat btw. How the fuck did we get Trump?

He murdered like a dozen old-school Republicans in the primaries when it came time for only reoublicans to vote
I think everyone was tired of nice tepid Republicans who get steam rolled by the media (Romney). The anti establishment sentiment was strong.
Listening to Haley yesterday gave me some faith… she probably has a stack of bodies somewhere or took a bribe lol. This is why we can’t have nice things.
Hey you asked.
She’s a woman on the republican side. She’s got as much chance as Harris.
Yeah, and make me a sandwich on your way out baby.
I appreciate the confirmation of my thoughts here!
Also, I respect the hell outta a guy who wants his wife to see that. Manmode
I’m with you all the way, Brother.
I think that her laying low during the next 2-4 years IS a strategy. (At least I haven’t heard a peep from her).
If she is on the trajectory I think she is on (and I could be wrong)…she could be the first female President…and a relief that I think America will be ready for after 8 years of Trump…(yep…I went there…!)
Do you think she has a legit shot at the nomination immediately post Trump? Or do you mean a cycle or 2 after him?
Has any non white male ever won more than 1% of the primary vote from the GOP? Serious question, none come to mind except crazy eyes bachman
Republicans have a lot of diversity. Many of their people in power aren’t even from the state. Also the shades of whiteness are varying. I’m whiter than my wife except for in the summer.
Yes I do.
And to your second question…she is female daughter of immigrants; who in 2004 beat a 30 year incumbent in the South Carolina House of Representatives; ran again twice unopposed; then eventually won the Governorship…*of South Carolina…*for two terms.
I would think that the GOP is a lot of things…let’s hope stupid is not one of them.
And I just finished watching the Ben Shapiro interview.
I am even more convinced that Haley is the person for the job of the Top Executive.
Will she do it?
We’ll see.
Pretty sure she has told Republicans she is running in 2024. I don’t think she’s a hammerlock or anything to win the nomination but I do think she will have a pretty good record to run on.
Is south Carolina bolded because they’re historically anti female? Or just that they’re a GOP stronghold?
Is it just that the GOP never submits a quality candidate that isn’t a white male? Or does the GOP simply not vote for women like the rest of the country?
Did she go through her stances on anything other than the foreign policy? I’d be interested to see her take on the big ticket items
Edit: I’d be happy to see the stances she took as gov. Ontheissues doesn’t have much
Her parents are Indian immigrants and she has that SC twang. She might bridge the gap.
I think @mufasa was pointing out that ‘first to secede’ South Carolina elected a nonwhite female as governor on a GOP ticket. That is a note worth considering, though it doesn’t prove how she’ll do in any other race.
She started a policy group to build her platform. Positions are probably there.
You see this as a positive with her nationally?
Do you have a link? All I can find are traditional old-school conservative stances like no taxes and gay marriage bans
Edit:
Let’s not get carried away here lol
They are.
I now have “Stand for America” bookmarked and I am subscribed.
I would go there, @pfury for her “base” Policy Positions, which I am sure will be modified and added upon with time.
I am glad that thus far Abortion and Sexual Orientation are not mentioned. For those whom feel that these are personal “Litmus Test” for any candidate that they vote for…then maybe Haley would not be someone whom you would support. (Interestingly; Trump has not taken strong, public stands on either Abortion or issues involving Sexual Orientation).
I would argue that a great deal on McCain’s support was actually because of his running mate.
Carly Florina also polled well early.
I think the GOP would nominate the right woman, to be honest.
The Tories are 2 female leaders up on Labour, and one of those was a hard-nosed, free marketer, cold warrior working class woman.
They also have have Theresa May.
Ironic. Id bet money McCain beats Obama if he had an actual running mate instead of someone who may actually be proof of vaccines causing autism.
Eh I’m more wondering about actual votes cast. Pre primary polling just wonders how old people are feeling.
I’m not sure British politics apply to Americans. Especially in regards to demographics.
Were the Tories historically neverwomen voters that suddenly showed up en masse for women?
About 4% in a crowded field. Nothing to sniff at.
They were certainly perceived as the patrician party, but I take your point.
Do you mean in polling? Wiki shows her pulling .13% in 2016.
I do stand corrected though. Ben Carson technically pulled almost 3% of the primary votes. The GOP may actually be willing to pretend to want to nominate a black guy.
Imo Nikki’s still not getting the nom directly after Trump. I could see 1-2 cycles after
That’s not controlling for her early drop out. For those primaries she was on the ballot for, it was ~4%.
