Trump: The Third Year

Sad, but true, my friend…sad but true…

It would matter a good deal more if the right would focus on her stances instead of trying to ream her for what she wore to Congress.

Should be a piece of cake to make her a nobody. No idea how they just keep giving her free points…

Well, if you let him sling mud now, it’ll be mostly forgotten before it gets serious. Think about how quickly people forget. Hell, Trump shat on POWs and he has a lot of veteran supporters.

Ya, that’s a good question.

Ignoring her would be a start, she’s a first term congresswoman for God’s sake. She’s trolling them magnificently.

I think it’s inadvertent much like Zep’s trolling.

Good question, @thunderbolt23

It seems like the greatest battles are occurring on the State Level, as more and more restrictive laws are being pushed (even though they inevitably reach the Federal Courts).

Another way to look at it (at least in some people’s eyes) is that Supreme Court nominations are “abortion fights”.

Ultimately, it is for many people “the” only issue for voting for or against a candidate.

Not for president. She is 29 years old. You have to be 35 to be president (in the US).

Good call, I forgot she was still in her 20s.

It’s often the only significant difference between two candidates. How many other issues are there on which an actual candidate is often either “for” or “against?”

Fundraising. It takes $1B to get elected US president… Well for Democrats anyway.

I know, that’s why I said “very soon” rather than imminently. I could have made that clearer in fairness.

If you cause your opposition to beclown themselves just be existing, does it truly matter?

She is cuckoo, but she is also attractive and uses social media well. Also, given the granular, and often petty, criticism she is getting, I could see a Trump-esque rise in her popularity.

Also, I would be delighted if this man got a nomination.

As is evident by all the nicknames Trump came up with that sticks to this day? Shit Mufasa posted a pocahantos pic above.

Because vets rarely vote Dem. They vote for the party cuz 2A.

Fundraising doesn’t happen without a POTUS candidate? That’s news to me.

They seemed to do just fine in 2018 when the RNC nearly doubled the DNCs fundraising and still got dumpsterfucked

What like Lyin Ted? Aren’t they BFFs now?

The Pocahontas thing is a perfect point, though. He got his jab in, but everyone will forget about that in a few months.

Something like 40% of veteran voters voted for HRC over Trump. To a lesser extent some, like myself, went third party.

I’m guessing the Dem nominee won’t be willing to bend over to secure that friendship

Didnt he call her that like 2 years ago?

Edit: earliest Google can find for me is him starting that in 2016

Guy dumps on tons of vets and generals and STILL pulls 60% of the vote? That kinda proves my point doesn’t it?

Edit2: the draft dodging bone spurs guy no less

I don’t know when it was, my point is he got the jab in when she announced (The 1/2024th or whatever joke), but it will be ancient history in a year.

It’ll lose it’s bite is what I’m saying. Once you hear “lyin Ted” or “Crooked Hillary” 30 times you just kind of subconsciously ignore it. At least I do.

The impact of the Mattis fiasco remains to be seen, but I think it proves my point, not yours. 38% vote Dem. I wouldn’t consider that “rarely vote Dem.”

On the other hand, I said, “Hell, Trump shat on POWs and he has a lot of veteran support”. Doesn’t that prove my point, that people have short-term memories?

I’m happy to agree to disagree. It’s still used to this day by people I’m aware of and it’s a 3 year deep nickname.

You’re a good man :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Republicans sent a draft dodger that disrespected POWs, our entire military, and continues to this day. 38 feels pretty terrible tbh. Personally I attribute a lot of it to 2A 1 issue voters

I think it means they just generally don’t care about how much he disrespects the military when compared to their 2A views. I guess we’ll see in 2020
