I’ll be honest. I fuckin love her for this move. Taking away the spotlight has to be Trump’s single biggest pressure point.
Bet he’s wishing he didn’t wait so close to reelection time to start begging for wall money.

I have no love for Pelosi, but any move these days where Congress treats the President as the co-equal participant in our government (as opposed to a senior partner to their junior), I’ll support it, even if a little petty.

I support expanding the shutdown to the point that the Feds are unable to enslave any personnel.

Seems pretty damn silly to me.
If anyone actually cared people like Trump/Pelosi/Schumer couldn’t get elected.
And by the literal definition, if you’re getting pay that’s just late (backpay)… it’s not stealing or slavery. They’ve only delayed one paycheck so far.
It sucks, but the federal government hasn’t passed a budget in years and this continuing resolution debt ceiling thing is preposterous every time it happen.
Our representatives can’t even do their cushy, no work token jobs we sent them there to do. Nobody will remember that at ballot time though. They’ll just vote for their team.

And ISISsiastana has already conquered North America. Commercial airliners are crashing at a much greater rate than before the shutdown. The roads have been overtaken by highway pirates. I fear that I won’t be able to eat a healthy breakfast if another paycheck is delayed-I’ll probably start drinking bleach and trying to eat gunpowder like it’s oatmeal if Fed employees aren’t getting paid to save me from myself.

Poor Giuiliani (too lazy to look up his proper spelling at the moment. Dude has to cover for someone who can’t remember his own lies which is difficult. Clearly going through your own personal memory/early dementia problems don’t make it any easier.

It’s always interesting to me how people often point out Trump’s “loyalty”.
Right…ask an ex Wife or two…and ask Jeff Sessions…who was as committed and loyal to Trump as any person could have been…and Trump…NOT “the Media”…threw him under the Bus on several occasions, until even Liberals were feeling sorry for the guy.
Being someone who is “Loyal” to Trump reminds me off those Zoo workers with years of experience who get mauled by a Lion they have cared for for years…or the Trainer who gets killed and drowned by on Orca they have known since it was a Pup…
