Trump: The Third Year

Not only can, but have taken much of the right away.

That’s true. One is actual policy desire, and the other is a word. Now, maybe Trump actually thinks the clause is not in the Constitution…but I think it’s more likely that he’s a loud mouth that doesn’t carefully consider every word.

Which is a great trait to have when world markets, wars, and diplomacy all hinge on your words?

I don’t know. Heard an ad on the radio for “glocktober”for some store I think in the KC/Olathe area as I pretty much just listen to
KC sports talk. Door prizes and free glocks every Tuesday and Friday if I remember right.

Seems to be doing ok at least in Kansas/Missouri. Although Glocktober sucks compared to churches that give away guns just like Rambo Jesus wanted.

I’d assume words have less impact than policy or even policy proposals. What policy did Trump express a desire to implement when he said “phony?”

I don’t think Trump thinks the Emoluments Clause is phony. I think he was saying the use of it against him is phony. Now, I may be wrong: Trump may believe the clause is made up…but I doubt it.

Words for sure have less impact than policy. But I’m still not happy that he is constantly peeing the bed instead of shitting the bed just because urine soaked sheets aren’t as bad as shit stained.

If you read the actual transcript it’s pretty clear that he believes the emoluments clause itself to be the problem- he thinks it’s a tickytack, bureaucratic, phony piece of legislation. Likely because it is the antithesis of how the private business world operates and consequently how he has operated all his life. He’s an old dog from the private sector, and he’s trying to use the same old tricks in the new public sector.

Not in Trump’s case - they’re one and the same. Policies are set by Tweet, usually at the surprise of senior officials.

That the presidency would no longer follow conflict-of-interest norms and rules.

Another statement that demands emphasis.

Again, I ask…where are all of those yelling, screaming, “Don’t Tread On Me” Flag waving Tea Party activist when the Constitution actually IS attacked…and by none other than the POTUS himself?

Imo it means he implemented those policies a while ago. Innocent people typically stick to the “I didn’t do it” approach.

This is also fun.

Funnily enough, I typically try to post sources about Trump from FoxNews when at all possible. It seems this story hasn’t been picked up yet, by the largest news Organization in the country.

There are some still left, they just don’t have seats in the legislature or media. Unfortunately principles are the first casualty of national politics.

We can talk Lord of the Rings and I can take you to the best BBQ place ever that happens to be in a gas station.*

*. Technically they have two actual restaurants now but the gas station was is still my favorite. When Joe’s just had one location it was quite common to wait an hour in lines extending outside. Worth it!

But I can’t guarantee a free glock. Glocktober probably had three days a week of free guns before Obama!

The policy of convincing uninformed Americans that what he says is true and they need to behave accordingly.

They’ll be back for the next black president.

“The Department of Justice has upgraded its probe into the origins of the Russia Investigation from an administrative review to a criminal investigation”.

DAMN Trump and the Trumpublicans are good, @thunderbolt23, @loppar and others.

  1. Make Trump a “victim” of illegal activity 2) use the powers of the “Deep State” (that you profess to deplore) to crush anybody and anything that defys you, disagrees with you or wants to run against you in an election, and 3) have a significant segment of the population still grovel at your feet.

Also have many of those Trumpublicans so scared shitless to defy you, that they throw out all House and Senate rules and protocol to “storm” a meeting that by all indications should be closed (and that had plenty of Trumpublican representation), because the Twitter-in-Chief has made the declaration that it’s all “unfair”…and do it all in the lead up to an election year.

My guess is that even President Obama thinks Trump is good at misinformation and chaos…DAMN good…

Vladimir has taught him well…

How much of it is Trump being good and Americans being uneducated and lazy?

We’re talking about a nation of obese citizens who made the Kardashians relevant and wealthy.

I suppose Schiff could open up his investigation into an actual inquiry and it would be the same.
Do you think he should?

To be quite honest…the DEMS just aren’t good at this.

So no.
