But, I don’t believe from what I’ve read that he threatened our national security and in fact might just be playing the Russians with the intel that he gave. As for other nations I doubt this will play much into their thought process…time will tell.
I don’t feel like I’m taking it all that far. I’m not calling for impeachment. I’m not calling him a Russian stooge. Simply that he’s not smart enough to keep the holes in his admin closed and his mouth shut in regards to other countries’ classified intel.
If you were an EU country that survived the Cold War, you wouldn’t take into account whether or not you thought the POTUS could be trusted with sensitive intel around RUSSIA?

I don’t think they look at it as a trust issue. It could be that much of the world is laughing over this Russian nonsense. I am not saying that they are but I assure you that they are not as concerned about it as the typical left-winger.

I’m not saying they’re going to be up in arms about it in front of cameras. I’m saying that if any of our allies have intel we may need where Russia is on the other side, they’re going to be more hesitant about sharing it. And since I pretty rarely find myself agreeing with Putin’s choices in the global scene, that’s a big deal to me.

You might be right about that. Then again they may look at it as a Trump ploy as I suggested. I know the narrative is that he is an idiot, but I don’t think I would go quite that far. I can’t remember the last time a true idiot was elected to the Presidency, certainly none in my lifetime.
