Trump: The First Year

Are these all by the same author? Are any of them opinion/editorial pieces?

The first and 3rd article are both opinion pieces. Knowing that would require actually READING the article though.

Or a 12 second google search. Either or.

I Googled the articles. I’ll unpack your misrepresentation for everyone. The author of the first piece is from a guest contributor who is a liberal that worked in some capacity for Hillary Clinton’s campaign. The third piece is from a guest contributor who is a Libertarian who works at the Cato Institute. CNN is allowing guest contributors to offer point and counterpoint through guest editorials. And each piece, CNN says that the views belong to the author and are not being published on behalf of CNN. So, CNN isn’t changing its mind on anything based on what Trump did in his budget.

You’re as dishonest with your deliberate misrepresentation of information as Zeb.

What else would they be?

They publish them and therefore it’s a representation of their organization.

No one would let them off the hook so easily if they published an article written by David Duke

So now we are going to criticize CNN for trying to represent both sides of the aisle? Forgive them for giving readers the tools to form their own opinions.

No they aren’t. And I’m not sure what’s worse, your initial misrepresentation or you’re even dumber attempts to justify it.

LOL!

@thehebrewhero
maybe Trump was getting a Golden Shower from some young little Russian Boy Thing at the time?

Maybe “Covfefe” translates ROUGHLY into “Oooooh
baby!” in English?

(Sorry guys! It was out there
I took it
I couldn’t help it!)

CNN is pure covfefe.

Even if this did represent their org, would that matter? Would this not simply represent that they’re willing to publish both sides of a story and let the viewer/reader make up his/her mind?

Is this not, quite literally, the exact opposite of what the right complains about CNN constantly? They’re not being partisan. They’re not “choosing a side.” They’re publishing both sides of a story from multiple perspectives and letting us figure out which side we fall on. You know
 journalism.

Covfefe sounds kinda French, so I’m guessing the dude was wearing one of those little maid outfits.

It was a multi-cultural experience.

It matters because it shows their hypocrisy

People aren’t complaining about opinion pieces so much as their reporting of news

It shows CNN’s hypocrisy by showing opposing views on a political issue? Hypocritical of what exactly?

She “assaults” a fake head and loses her job. Greg Gianforte assaults a real reporter and goes to Congress. Makes sense.

Wouldn’t hypocrisy be to only publish one side of a story? If you want to say that MSM is partisan no matter which side of the fence they’re on, that’s understandable.

Saying a news station is hypocritical by reporting both sides of a subject is back asswards. Using this as an example when it says the very opposite doesn’t work very well.

Ben Shapiro did a great interview with Ben Sasse about it. Basically, he said it is a political prisoner’s dilemma. The voters know they’ll either get someone who is a bastard, or someone who they actively hate the politics of.

I mean, Ted Kennedy may have killed a girl and attempted to cover it up, and still was called the “Lion of the Senate.”

The only solution is both parties no seating people in such situations. But I reckon the chances of that are close to nil.

Edited as per Mufasa’s correction. Thanks for the catch @Mufasa

@Legalsteel:

That was Edward “Ted” Kennedy

He was charged with assault. I doubt Kathy Griffin will get in trouble with the law

And in all fairness, MT has a ton of absentee/mail it in votes, so their votes had been in place well before this happened, I know there was a large push to change their votes but they weren’t allowed to. (I did not believe he was a good representative for MT prior to this act of idiocy.) He has been charged with misdemeanor assault at this point, although I am not sure much will come of it.
