Trump: The First Year

Think commies and socialists. They typically charge starvation, slavery and total obedience, but sometimes even your life.

I think you’re confused. Price ceilings always ā€œmake things cheaperā€. Even Zep the commie knows medical costs are cheaper in other countries, and it’s not that the US just subsidies the rest of the damn world.

So is ā€œEveryone’s going to die one dayā€ yet it serves zero useful purpose in this situation. It simply allows people to interpret his tweet as threatening to pull aid out of PR when only 20% there have electricity and slightly more have drinking water. He didn’t say anything of the sort to Texas or Florida.

Correct, and anyone that hates trump jumps on the threat train, and anyone that loves trump cheers his ā€œballs approachā€ and anyone who prefers the truth to spin and bullshit hears a statement of fact. Whether or not it should be said about PR, TX or FL is a subjective matter.

The worst part of the trump presidency is actually have to defend the dumbfuck from over the top trump derangement syndrome. Not saying you have it, but some people are so foaming at the mouth they actually make him look more and more reasonable in the process.

Mind boggling how the left and right have just totally and completely switched sides. And to top it all off I got kids arguing with me that ā€œconquering farmlandā€ isn’t important and that popular vote actually counts…

I predict FEMA will be in P.R. longer than trump will be in the whitehouse.

Are you prepared for the possibility you’d have to wait 7 more years to be correct about this? And what that implies for the people living in PR?

Personally I’d be wary of any predictions until you see the midterm results. And even then, you better hope the dems get their head out of their asses by 2020 and stop running personality voids like Hillary, commies and socialists.

Time will tell but I don’t think it will take seven years. Mueller will recommend impeachment but nothing will happen until the dems take over one house of congress in 2018. Once that happens trump will resign instead of facing impeachment.

Winning the House (while not at all out of the question) is a tall order for the Dems right now. IT would require winning in red areas, and if that is the goal, they need to roll back quite a bit on the talking points, particularly gun control.

That said, Trump signs the bump stock bill as is, the R’s will lose all 3 houses by the end of 2020.

Agreed. I’ve seen people lose their minds over things he’s said that really do not matter, in the whole scheme of things, at all.

His handling of PR, though, has been really poor and sends a message of ā€œI don’t care about certain US citizensā€. So I think it’s not wrong for people to be up in arms about this one. A bigger concern for me, though, is his talk about revoking media licenses on organizations that report negatively about him.

Depends on what aspect they are up in arms about. PR was in serious trouble long before a hurricane, and it isn’t Trumps fault the infrastructure is destroyed.

And while his tit for tat is childish, I’m not going to say he’s 100% wrong in his critical statements of PR’s leadership.

I mean, that people aren’t prepared that he will say outlandish shit by now is beyond me…

He’s going to say something outrageous tomorrow too man. He’s a shitposting troll.

Duh if they are black, brown… Whys it a surprise hes been a racist shit bag since birth. He still hasent apologized for central park 5 and he was proven wrong. He dont give a shit about any of us. He just used fast talkin to fool simple folk so he could win the ultimate popularity contest. He only cares about winning and image… USA is prolly 5-6th on list As far as PR goes hes a fucko they are citizens. I dont remember Bush talkin shit on New Orleans after Katrina. Hes trash…infrastructure blah blah they are US citizens living on US turf and they have nothing now. They deserve help from their leader. They fight in our Army this is BS

Obama’s director of centers for Medicare & Medicaid services said that there’s abuse. But what would he know?

Whether it’s intentional gaming or bad planning by poor people we know that the exchanges are a disaster. Mostly sick people are signing up. We also know that a large amount of those signups let their policies lapse. It’s so bad insurers are pulling out of the exchanges.

So whether it’s intentional or not we have people getting care and then they stop paying premiums.

"In a speech Monday night, Andy Slavitt, acting administrator for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, which oversees the exchanges, acknowledged the problems and said the administration would tighten the rules for special enrollments — and terminate coverage for those who found to have signed up improperly.

ā€œThere are some [special enrollment periods] that we need to clarify because they’re subject frankly to abuse,ā€ Slavitt said at the J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference in San Francisco. ā€œThere may be bad actors and others out there who are abusing those.ā€ He said the administration would spell out its plans in the next week, and stressed that people who want coverage need to get it by the Jan. 31 deadline for the regular signup period."

That’s how it should be–tweak the system as needed. Trouble is, the Trump administration is bound and determined to cause the system to fail–millions of people who will lose their coverage be damned.

Au contraire, it was designed to fail in the first place. This was a stepping stone to buy votes and get people ready for single payer. That’s why the fines for healthy people not buying insurance are so cheap. That’s why it was basically a big Medicaid push for poor people and caused the plans of people actually paying premiums to fucking skyrocket.

This is all by design.

I remember a tweet where he said something like ā€œWe will be with Texas every step of the wayā€ in recovery.

No one should ever stand a hypocrite. What a joke of a man.

You must not think too highly of your own party.

The GOP has had seven years to come up with a replacement for the ACA, but the best they can muster are three spectacular flops in nine months. Yet the democrats managed to craft and pass a bill they specifically designed to fail after Obama leaves office?

You mean, the Heritage Foundation and Mitt Romney were the originators of a plan to implement single payer? Those conniving bastards!

Go ahead and pin the plan that got zero Rep votes on Reps. That’s not even the most intellectually dishonest position you’ve taken this week.

Romney was trying to lean left to playcate his blue state, with predictable results (higher costs and less choice). It was indeed designed to fail. Just look at Bernie proposing single payer. He’s gaining steam with the Dems. Especially since the DNC cheated him.

@Tyler23 I have zero respect for most politicians. They are human flotsam as far as Im concerned. Especially congressional republicans. At least the Dems can march in lock step when they need to. The Reps love their circular firing squad.

Dude, there’s nothing intellectually dishonest about pointing to the Heritage plan and Romneycare as the origins of the ACA. It’s just a fact.

The only intellectual dishonesty I detect here is the implication that the Reps opposed the ACA on anything bur craven partisan grounds.
