I have no idea if her health is the issue. But I do know that he should let the proceedings go forward. Prove her guilt and then if he wants to be magnanimous he can pardon her.
I don’t think we really want to see someone who has run for the Presidency in jail …do we? I think it would serve justice if she were charged found guilty and pardoned with a list of things that she cannot do from that point forward. One would be the dismantling of the Clinton Foundation. Not that they will be getting many donations without her in power or the possibility of her being in power again as it was clear that the CF was a pay for play corrupt criminal enterprise.
That would probably be considered fair.
It’s tricky though. If she was actually selling the office of SOS, then what? It’s like an adventure into the absurd to try to unpack and consider the ramifications of how that may have shaped world events, and what the penalties should be.
I honestly can not comprehend that type of criminality.
Make her and Bill have sex with each other - probably kill both at the same time.
LMAO…that was a genuine laugh out loud
Trump supporters at Reddit attempt to deliver 1 metric ton of salt to the NY Times.
I voted for Darrel Castle. (and Republicans for the down ballot elections) I would have burned myself at the stake before voting for either one of the big party lowlifes.
I do hereby predict that 20 years hence(even 10) who won this election will have have made zero significant difference. With the possible exception of the fact that it is virtually unfathomable that Trump (or anybody) will send us worse SCOTUS picks than Hilary.
I am grateful indeed that my citizenship is not ultimately of the United States which is certainly under the unmistakable ROMANS 1 judgement of almighty God.
Anyway. Just thought I’d pop in for a minute. Nice to see some of the old names.
Thunderbolt is right btw. ![]()
Welcome back man ! You should pop in more often.
I just need Trump to renege on his list of judges and pick someone who is not very conservative (at least, as far as social issues are concerned) for the SCOTUS.
Then I will be pretty darned happy right about now.
Hey Trib how are you doing? Good to see you posting again.
Trumps picks have been nothing short of outstanding! As for SCOTUS picks refer to his lists. There some 20 Justices on two lists. Everyone of them is conservative. Any one of them would be better than the wacky left wing loons that Hillary would have chosen.
Everyone is still hyped up from the election. The people who hate him are already trying to bury him 2 months before he enters office and the people who voted for him expect his campaign promises to be delivered yesterday.
Reasonable expectation: see how many of the items he promised to take care of in the first 100 days he actually follows through on. I believe there were 28 different items so plenty to hold him accountable for
I’m not trying to bury him, I’m pointing out his nakedly un-conservative direction on certain policy already and wondering where all the conservatives are?
If Clinton was suggesting a blowout infrastructure project on borrowed money, we’d be hearing how it’d be the end of the Republic we know it and there would be no “hey, let’s wait and see how she does in the medium term before rushing to judgment.”
Can you explain why this is the case?
What exactly are you referring to
Everything I noted above already, plus the debt-fueled infrastructure program?

IMO…so far he has said the right things and kept the ball moving forward.
thunderbolt23…I appreciate your desire to point out the hypocrisy; but even during the campaign he didn’t project conservatism.

Oh, I completely agree that he didn’t project conservatism.
I’m just perplexed where the conservatives are. Hell, Trump could proclaim that on Day One he was going to issue an order nationalizing the banks and at this point “conservatives” wouldn’t blink or have a bad thing to say.

What conservatives are you looking for exactly? Guys on here? Politicians? Media?
I don’t think the Trump base was ever filled with conservatives. Many of the guys on here knew he wasn’t. Raj aside, the ones that voted for him were in the “lesser of two evils” camp. Glenn Beck and Mark Levin have been hammering Trump about his proposed infrastructure and child care programs. Sure there is plenty of hypocrisy from the partisan hacks, but not from the actual conservative advocates. Not that i’ve seen anyway.
I thought the points brought up were something that happened post election.
Going to disengage from pre-election topics, the criticism that he isn’t a conservative has been discussed at length.
