Trump: The First 100 Days

But this has absolutely nothing to do with Trump winning the election…just ask any crying liberal.

The US Post Office lost 46 billion dollars between 2007 and 2015…but at least they’re polite to you.

Yes, it’s absurd, for the reasons you stated. The Constitition itself cannot violate the Constitution.

It’s pretty entertaining on its face - imagine, this person is asking a judge to strike down part of the Constitution.

The Schadenfreude part of my brain really wishes you could disbar someone for that blatent nonsense. Or at least put them in a “time out” for a while lol

She could be sanctioned for such a frivolous claim:

Judges don’t like to mete these out, but this is so lame, it truly is a complete waste of everyone’s time to even deal with it.

Only in California would they try that.

At this point in time he probably has secret service who watch over any food and beverage preparation. If not he is asking for trouble.

Scott Baio who ordered the drink would not have secret service.

Informative as always. Thanks for offering your expertise here, it is greatly appreciated.

But a Hail Mary pass to where? Regardless how low the probability is, what do you think would happen if it actually connected? That’s the sort of thing that might literally start a civil war.

To the Supreme Court I guess, but it seems Democrats lost that too. Trump winning is only a part of the huge loss, I see him getting two, or maybe three SCOTUS picks if he wins reelection. That’s a Conservative court for almost a generation.

Something needs to be addressed to all these melting snowflakes, and it needs to be done ASAP. Democrats got their ass kicked for some time now. They lost the House, then the Senate, and now the Presidency and the Supreme Court. The majority of state legislatures and governorships are also Republican. Only 5 states have a Democratic governor and state legislature, which means 45 states don’t. 90% of the country doesn’t want one party rule by Democrats.

Agree, Max…but let me add…

It’s time to and stop whining about: the “MSLM”, President Obama, Pelosi, ObamaCare, BLM, being “forced” to bake cakes for Gays, taking away 350 million-plus guns, small-arms and assorted weapons (which is impossible), or what Katy Perry or Bono says or doesn’t say…the list goes on and on…

It’s time to STFU…and FREAKIN’ GOVERN!

Don’t leave out President Trump pausing to have a twitter fight with a celebrity. 'Merica.

Please…the reasons for the current situation are well known…you’re just playing dumb.

Congress passed the Postal Accountability and Enhancement Act of 2006 (PAEA). Under the terms of PAEA, the USPS was forced to “prefund its future health care benefit payments to retirees for the next 75 years in an astonishing ten-year time span” – meaning that it had to put aside billions of dollars to pay for the health benefits of employees it hasn’t even hired yet, something that “no other government or private corporation is required to do.”The problem with the Post‘s argument starts in its thesis: that the post office is in some sort of deep fiscal hole of its own making – a result of being left behind in the Internet Age and a shrinking consumer base. The truth is that almost all of the postal service’s losses can be traced back to a single change in the law made by the Republican Congress in 2006.

Remarkably, even one of the main sponsors of the 2006 legislation now agrees the pre-funding requirement was a bad idea. In 2014, a writer for the Roanoke Times reached out to former congressman Tom Davis, a Virginia Republican who today works for the accounting and consulting giant Deloitte. Though Davis agreed that the requirement was unwise, he said it was “the cost of getting the bill through,” noting that the Bush administration wanted to use the revenue to help balance the budget (note that the U.S. Postal Service doesn’t actually use taxpayer dollars but does have implicit subsidies such as borrowing at a lower rate).

I wouldn’t count the chickens before they’ve hatched on the Supreme Court. Trump appointing a Scalia replacement just holds serve, leaving Kennedy as the swing vote. That’s essentially the same court that bent over backward to keep Obamacare and found gay marriage in the Constitution. It has made some conservative rulings as well, but it’s hardly rubber stamping a conservative agenda.

Of course, if Ginsburg and Breyer leave vacancies, and if Trump can get conservative justices into those slots, then its definitely a conservative court. But that is a couple big “ifs.”

Ginsburg is 83 and Breyer is 78, those “ifs” aren’t that big.

My father has stayed current with the USPS situation, including being connected in a retired postmaster lobby.
He has given this same story for years.

However no excuse should be given nor received for slack customer service.

As an aside that’s not how they’d do it. First there would be a law that caps the number of bullets that you may keep in your gun. Then there is a law that caps the number of guns you can own. Then, which is already prevalent in some states, they make it so difficult to get a license for a handgun that most are discouraged. This is easily accomplished with a 50 page application. And furthered by left wing judges who will only hand-out sport gun permits as in no concealed carry. And on and on…chip, chip, chip away at the 2nd amendment until “the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed” is only a memory.

I picked this out of your list not to chastise you in any way. But this is one of the main reasons that I voted for Trump. You may disagree but I feel the far left is absolutely out to disarm Americans and will attempt it as I described above.

Trump mentioned federal gun permits as being something that he would like to see passed. Something that would be honored by all states. I would love to see that.

LOL…he’s a twitterholic…
