Trump: The First 100 Days

I agree with you treco. But if you read my post to TB you would know that allies are allies for many different reasons. I am claiming that he has allies. Not because he is a master Politian…hardly. But because he may have the same goals as those who may not like him personally but agree with his end game. That in fact creates allies.

I didn’t say you said it was a good idea - Trump thinks it’s a good idea (by virtue of doing it in lieu of his other options), so you tell me why Trump is doing this way.

I’ve answered the last question from you that I am going to until you answer the question I asked several posts back.

You said that Ivanka and Kushner are against the wall and will influence Trump not to build it. My question to you was why would his daughter and son in law want to lose power in four years? Isn’t it logical that both would want to stay in power?

You never answered now please answer that question.

Heh. Yes, notice how Zeb tried to make me and you out to be “dishonest” for not being ultra-precise in a conversation after having his head handed to him for being a decade-long fraud. And while he lectures everyone here on the importance of apologizing for misdeeds, remember his (non)apology for putting on his charade? “I was doing it on purpose to teach everyone a valuable lesson - I think we’ve all learned a good lesson from this.”

Hilarious.

But, I am disappointed - and sorry to everyone that Zeb has this weird obsession with me and other posters he’s tangled with. It has a way of wrecking threads, and I play along too often. My hope is one day he’ll let it go, but honestly anyone invested in a fake persona for a decade - used at the end primarily to rehabilitate himself with other posters who had tired to his nonsense and treated him with the pariah status he’d earned due to his obnoxious behavior - isn’t likely to let it go.

Yep, I did:

…but in any event, pushing for the wall doesn’t necessarily help re-election, mainly because there’s no chance Mexico is going to pay for it. Moreover, if they truly thought controversial immigration policies were the way to go to win re-election, they wouldn’t have elbowed the Breitbart wing aside. That makes no sense.

If they are desperate to get Trump re-elected and thought aggressive immigration was the path to doing so, they wouldn’t be marginalizing the Breitbart wing. As a result, there’s no reason to think they are convinced aggressive immigration policies are the ticket to holding on to power, and the best way to guess what they’re up to is by looking at what they’re up to. Plus, everything up to this point - including Bannonites themselves - think Kushner and Ivanka are trying to get Trump back to his Northeastern liberal senses, and a wall doesn’t fit in with that.

The wall is no guarantee of electoral help next time around - it runs the risk of revitalizing a disoriented Democratic Party and putting at risk border state Republicans. Trump will be damned if he does and damned if he doesn’t - and so there’s no automatic reason to leap to an idea Kushner and Ivanka would think it a good idea. And the fact that they are Northeastern liberals who probably don’t support it makes me think the push for the poison pull strategy isn’t coming from them.

Now, to my question.

TB, you can continue to play the part of the douche bag and remember things the way you want. But the fact is when I am wrong I apologize and move forward. When you are wrong you ignore it and continue to claim you are right. That is the difference. Your record shows it. 14 odd years on T Nation not one apology issued. And millions upon millions of words written…and you were never wrong even once! Uh huh…

If you want to remind me of my misdeeds every time we debate a topic fine, I will continue to remind you of yours. Just as you lied today about me. Also, when is it you are going to apologize to Raj for calling him all sorts of nasty names, or do you think that’s the purpose of this site? You get to vent and bully others?

That is a horrible way to go through life TB. You are going to make mistakes we all do. But running from them is not the way to handle them.

Now go apologize to Raj…

What a very foolish and naïve answer. I would expect as much from you. Yes…Ivanka and Kushner just hate being in power. They can’t wait for it to end. Kushner is probably tired of being featured on the cover of national magazines and being talked about as the man behind the throne. And I am sure he has no political ambitions of his own which four more years in the White House would help. Yeah…he want’s that to end LOL …I don’t know if I can continue to take you seriously after your empty headed, one dimensional answer.

LOL…I hope you are not selling political advice for a living, if so you should be broke!

Yup and tell them now no need to mine coal they can live out their life long dream of picking strawberries and cleaning hotel rooms. Hallalur the struggle is over

Sorry, everyone. As you can see, I gave a perfectly substantive reply to Zeb on the merits, per his request, and this is the reply back. Oh well. Moving on.

You gave a goofy and naïve response. It is something that I would expect from a person who never pays attention to politics at this level. And I am finding it difficult to take it seriously.

Trump is scheduled to have dinner tonight with John McCain and Lindsey Graham. This sincerely scares the hell out of me.

@thunderbolt23 @zeb1

I think this is the best trolling job I’ve ever seen. Zeb really has your number. You pin him down and he responds with “nuh-uh”. Moves right along.

Decorum argument: I didnt call everyone a buttboy, therefore you’re a liar.
Nevermind that calling anyone a buttboy means you have no standing to make decorum exhortations.

Maybe you could give me one example of where TB has “pinned me down”.

You’re right, has to be.

Still waiting for where TB has “pinned me down”.

Please give me an example of this. It’s a big thread but if I was doing that bad of a job then it should be easy to find something…

TB, jump right in and point out to me and your sycophants where you pinned me down.

Should be easy right?..let’s see it.

Lol. Conservative media and Trump, Graham and McCain in the same room?

Three centrists vs all the conservatives. Maybe it’ll be like the scene from mars attacks lol.

I wish the media would be present, but they won’t be. Mr Trump will be dining alone with the senators.

That’s the part that scares me.
