Honestly, if a guy made holocaust jokes at me and talked about “numbers on your arm” I’d have a very difficult time not checking into that guy too, right or not.
Espousing what is generally seen as an extremist ideology and combining it with holocaust imagery in insult is about the best way I could think of to get someone pissed off at you enough to cross boundaries.
Nice is a two way street indeed. But whether or not you personally believe what you are espousing is in any way Nazi like, you must surely be aware that there are people who fervently believe it genuinely IS nazi esque as well as racist and will respond as such.
A vast majority of people see your views as extremely racist myself included. They respond as people usually do to that perception.
Also, wrong or right, you were the first person to bring up Hitler and Nazi efficiency in rounding uo “undesirables”. I don’t believe people took to calling you those terms until after you had brought up the Reich several times. At least this is the way I remember it.
You’re a horrid racist, a pariah, you write at the third grade level, and you traffic in below-the-belt insults. Your next chapter needs to be developing some self-awareness.
Yes, I am not sure what I think about this. One one hand I despise Trump and have zero confidence in him, so this galls me. On the other hand, if you’re making decisions when the calls come in then who cares if you’re golfing when you make the call? Bleh…
Yeah, it’s the “making decisions” part that worries me. His stance on Syria (as well as Tillerson’s) seemed to change in a matter of days. Not to mention how much Trump railed against Obama for his golfing habits, yet Obama hadn’t even golfed once at this point in his first term.
Oh no doubt in my mind about all that. I dont think it counts for you if you make judgments based on coin flips or tweets. I don’t trust his decisions any farther than I could throw his hairpiece.
My stance remains the same as my first post on the subject:
loppar only “revealed” information that you, personally, have already posted or revealed to the Twittersphere (a much more public space than a T-Nation forum, I daresay) under the same name you post under here. Anyone who cared to Google your forum handle could have come up with the same information.
I will repeat: if this turned into any sort of off-line harassment, that would be entirely out-of-bounds. If he had even posted any identifying personal information (name, address, whatever) that was not readily available on the first two pages of a Google search of your forum handle, I would find it unsavory. But flipping your lid over this terrible invasion of your privacy because he posted things you personally put out into the Twittersphere…you can’t be serious.
Honestly, I can’t summon any real outrage over Trump spending some time on the golf course - as I said awhile ago in another discussion on this topic, Presidents are still functioning people and need some sort of leisure time or physical activity. The only thing annoying about this is, of course, that Trump used “he spends too much time golfing while the American people suffer / the world is in crisis / etc!” as one of his go-to rallying cries that he was going to be the President that works for the people.
I’m of the opinion that anything you ever write on the internet is fair game. When I was playing college sports that was clearly evident as pictures of yourself drinking could be used in similar fashion to a failed drug test. If you don’t want the consequence, don’t do the action.
If you’re embarrassed by things you have said then you should reflect on why they are embarrassing. It’s the same thing about talking behind somebody’s back, you need to think about what they would think if they heard those words. If an employer, family member, friend, or stranger found out about things I’ve posted around here I would not be embarrassed because they reflect my views that they most likely already know (if they asked). That’s called being intellectually honest, something I could say about most posters around here.
