Also, just out of curiosity: Does it bother you that so many of the people who share your world-view despise you, and consider you part of the problem?
You have exactly zero idea how to read or analyze actual biochemical or genetic research. The fact that you posted the study in question as if it “proved” anything in support of your “overarching point” is proof enough, but the fact that you would come out and say that the position of these FULL TIME researchers that race is a social construct is “anti science”–not just wrong mind you, but that it is ANTI SCIENCE coming from scientists–is the icing on the cake.
a)The left despises white males, you’re the cause of all their problems. Examples are ubiquitous. Check out the book - No Campus for White men
b) I live with it because I think if demographics continue to radically change white tribalism will grow and lead to a much worse future for America especially minorities.
First, that is a silly thing to say. Are there lefties who feel that way? Sure. Do all lefties feel that way? Not even close. Is feeling that way a defining characteristic of being a lefty? C’mon.
Further, those relatively few lefties who do ‘despise white males’ and ‘blame them for all their problems’ do not share my views, so they are not germane to my assertion.
So, you support white tribalism as a hedge against worse white tribalism? That seems perverse, to put it mildly.
I am not a dentist.
I’m not sure if this is true, or what it’s significance is supposed to be, but ok.
This is called epigenetics. It is not a new idea. Nor does it have anything to do with race per se. From your link:
“Different racial and ethnic groups tend to follow different diets, live in neighborhoods with varying levels of poverty and pollution, and are more or less likely to smoke. DNA methylation can reflect these subtle cultural and environmental differences.”
The author’s assertions notwithstanding, such findings are entirely consistent with race as a sociocultural construct.
Further, there is currently deep disagreement over the extent to which epigenetic changes can affect germline-cell DNA expression (so-called transgenerational epigenetic inheritance).
In short, you are getting way out over your skis here.
These are just a few. I also gave this example earlier:

Imagine if this belief found it’s way into medicine? People would be improperly treated and in many cases die if the doctor didn’t take into account the patient’s race. I can see the future, soon people will be calling Sphygmomanometers ‘culturally biased’ because they show different races have different blood pressure levels on average. [/quote]
I checked Quora and they trace it back to snow skiing, by way of stock market nomenclature that transitioned from their hobbies to the trade, then into common use.
On a note related to this spur of the thread- I’ve noticed a lot more african americans tend toward snowboarding. I don’t think its genetic though. It’s just way cooler.
