Trump: The First 100 Days

I agree, you shouldn’t look to race to be the first cause behind any incident, but in a nation where 82.5% of businesses are owned/operated by Whites, it will always be a factor. It’s like when my wife went downtown with a group if mixed friends and was denied entry into a bar because “they didn’t have a membership.”

They stayed and observed other groups of solely White people go in…and asked people on their way in if they had memberships, which, they didn’t.
I’ve worked as a bouncer in clubs before, I know how this works, but I also know my wife and anyone she associates with isn’t an “un-savory type” that you try to keep out of your establishment – otherwise she wouldn’t be my wife lol.

This leads to my next point: a white business owner/representative can find any reason to say no to a customer, but truly discriminated solely on race. This is not to say everytime a person is turned away, it is solely based on race (your radioshack incident), but that it is always a possible factor. One that White people don’t have to evaluate that everyone else does because “color-blind.”

The real “problem”.

We’re so fucked lol

Yeah the Chinese used to have the same problem.

We have serious economic challenges ahead that is for sure.

Well it’s only a “problem” if we can’t figure out ways for people to create value and earn a living.

Actually with the number of people I’ve seen maimed in industrial settings, lets let the robots take that beating for us.

I had a cost accounting manager with 1 arm. He lost it in a steel mill. When we had to approve investment applications from plants the safety applications would go to the top of the review pile. He used to waive his stub and go “Is this really a safety issue?”

Agreed, but some on this board don’t seem to.

I mean, you could teach all the people who are currently in manufacturing, how to code for the oncoming IoT, but doesn’t that defy the “archetype” of manufacturers that was heavily discussed previously? Like you said many posts back “Everyone isn’t meant to sit at a desk managing mutual funds all day.” I guess my thought is, where will the need be?

Absolutely, there’s no simple solution. There will always be a significant portion of the population that is best suited to manual labor and the trick will be creating jobs that suit this demographic. I think there will be a significant shift in jobs geared towards the repair of automation rather than manufacturing itself. Plus, we are decades away from full scale automation.

So you want an exact comparison to what Trump wants to build.

hahaha

Seems mostly left wing…so you should fit right in.

You’re a lucky man ED

LOL…What is going on is the typical “Trump is a racist” nonsense pushed by the left to demonize Trump and demean his Presidency.

There is not one case where Trump has espoused racism.

But there are many cases where he was not politically correct.

BIG DIFFERENCE.

I mean you said “other countries have built walls and they seem to work.”

ED may have put the qualifications too specific, so how about a wall that’s remotely similar to the one being suggested and we start from there? I assume since you said other countries have built walls you have an example or 2 in mind.

Full Scale Automation like…“Back to the Future?”

Lol, not exactly. I meant solely in manufacturing, but a lot of processes will be automated in the coming decades that people currently do outside of manufacturing. A lot of jobs will be replaced by automation and I believe it will be relatively soon. That is partly why I said in the other thread that I think UBI is inevitable.

*On the flip side, though, you will need people to interpret the mountains of data produced due to the IoT, for example.

I can tell you first hand we spend millions and millions of dollars just on data that very intelligent people then have to interpret using various methodologies.

Thanks for the clarification.
You push your position hard, but the statement seemed out of character, on first read.

You mean the period where the US won WW2, had the richest middle class of all time and went to the moon?

I am not going to play ED’s game as there is no exact comparison. But we all know that Israel has a wall to protect the west bank. There are other countries as well.

Walls/fences etc. those things do work and have worked for thousands of years to protect a countries borders. Just google and you can see plenty of them.

The left is truly losing it’s mind.

Nuh uh walls don’t work…NOTHING WORKS WE MUST LET IN ILLEGALS WE ARE AMERICA EVERYONE MUST COME HERE UNVETTED IT IS ALWAYS THE WAY THE SYSTEM HAS WORKED. WHA…I NEED TO BREAK THINGS AND THEN FIND A SAFE PLACE…HAHA

LOL…it’s getting difficult to take any of the left wing posters seriously anymore.

I get it Trump is an odd fellow…but not everything he says is wrong.

My gosh this is entertaining.

The joke has been walls don’t work… Until it’s time to build a celebrities house.

Or guns don’t keep us safe… Until it’s time to protect Democrat politicians

But you are right this is extremely entertaining. This is the first time in decades the left has faced real opposition and they’re losing their collective minds
