You think there’s no other indications of smoke out there? Hilarious.
Team Trump denies Flynn has contact with Russia - turns out Flynn talks to Russia on the same day Obama institutes sanctions. Team Trump has to walk back lie that Flynn didn’t talk.
Sure. But before something is investigated, it has to catch somebodies attention.
You’ve seen this play out before. You know that people are just waiting in the wings to pounce on anything that may be even remotely pounceworthy. This very issue will probably be the Trump admins. “welcome to washington” after his inauguration.
fwiw- as I trying to think of the word “inauguration”, the one I kept getting stuck on was “arraignment”.
You guys have ~6 days to find something worthwhile, otherwise the chances of Trump being investigated over alleged wrongdoing related to Russia will become as likely as Bush being held for starting illegal wars.
As I’ve said before the democrats are merely doing their job. They are attempting to delegitimize the new republican President. They knew Hillary would win. It was a foregone conclusion. And…it didn’t happen. They are still somewhat in shock and this is their way of doing all they can to harm the new republican President. They will make every move possible (and create a few more) to prevent Trump’s success. And to be fair, even though it was much less of a big deal, the republicans were not at all happy with lefty Obama. And they threw road blocks in his way at every turn.
Yes, it is far more vicious this time around by the democrats. But, as I have said the democrats are far better at the art of personal destruction than the republicans. The Trump/Russia connection is a great charade being played out by the democrat elite. The only people who believe this nonsense are the run of the mill left wing loons. And of course those who hate Trump so much that they want to believe anything bad about him. It’s called politics. Back in the day the republicans were better at the art of personal destruction. I mentioned Lee Atwater’s name in a prior post but there were other incredible republican operatives who, if they wanted, would have people believing that Mother Theresa was a member of Isis. Things will turn no doubt under Trump and the republicans will once again gain their confidence back and learn to strike at the jugular.
This Russia Trump story cooked up by the democrat elite and served to us by the left wing media is a dish that will will sit there and spoil in a very short period of time.
Ho hum…
Politics is an ugly game but one that I find most interesting.
Well, it’s seems there was strong suspicion. Incidentally, now we know why Trump wouldn’t defend the Baltic countries from Russia and why he hates the US intelligence agencies so much.
Last April, the CIA director was shown intelligence that worried him. It was - allegedly - a tape recording of a conversation about money from the Kremlin going into the US presidential campaign.
It was passed to the US by an intelligence agency of one of the Baltic States. The CIA cannot act domestically against American citizens so a joint counter-intelligence taskforce was created.
The taskforce included six agencies or departments of government. Dealing with the domestic, US, side of the inquiry, were the FBI, the Department of the Treasury, and the Department of Justice. For the foreign and intelligence aspects of the investigation, there were another three agencies: the CIA, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence and the National Security Agency, responsible for electronic spying.
Lawyers from the National Security Division in the Department of Justice then drew up an application. They took it to the secret US court that deals with intelligence, the Fisa court, named after the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act. They wanted permission to intercept the electronic records from two Russian banks.
Their first application, in June, was rejected outright by the judge. They returned with a more narrowly drawn order in July and were rejected again. Finally, before a new judge, the order was granted, on 15 October, three weeks before election day.
And US intelligence agencies. And Israel apparently. That’s a country that knows their stuff when it comes to their national security.
And Palestinians, who are asking Putin to tell (order?) Trump to stop the planned relocation of the US embassy to Jerusalem.
Not exactly “left wing loons”

They are still far better at it than those pikers, the Dems.
Funny you mention Atwater’s prowess in the political dark arts (at which he was an undisputed master) and refer to his abilities as “incredible.” I say this because, as he was dying young of cancer, he expressed regret for the way he chose to pursue his profession:
That is assuming he actually knew that they were investigating him.
This is a lot like the Bush 9/11 false flag accusations. He’s either a blithering idiot, barely capable of zipping his pants without getting his dick stuck in his zipper, or a covert agent of some nebulous cabal capable of orchestrating conspiracies at the highest levels.
What are the chances that he is both?
No way man. Did you see what Hillary did to herself? Just about singlehandedly brought down a political dynasty!
LOL…hmm and who controls “US Intelligence” currently?
Oh…that’s right they are far above political manipulation. Just as the US Justice Department was right?
LOL
This story goes no where.
Yes, I remember reading all about that. I’m sure that when one dabbles in the art of personal destruction there is only a short-term thrill involved… like winning. I’ve always found it more rewarding long-term to lift people up and help them all that I can within reason.
No doubt there will be plenty of democrats who have death bed regrets as well.
What a nasty game…that is if you want to win.
Excellent my friend! My first laugh of the day.
She did do a number on herself didn’t she?
Thank you.
Bingo.
It’s the same reason Hillary was able to avoid prison for her email scandal
You don’t get it…it’s a mindset.
You’re a defeatist.
He’s either a blithering idiot, barely capable of zipping his pants without getting his dick stuck in his zipper, or a covert agent of some nebulous cabal capable of orchestrating conspiracies at the highest levels
One more good point. But this is in the democrats playbook. It’s like throwing spaghetti at the wall and seeing how much sticks. That is a term a good friend of mine uses who is a District Attorney. When they want to nail a bad guy they charge the culprit with everything they can knowing that most of it probably won’t stick.
The democrats will call Trump an idiot and those who want to believe this will do so thus harming Trump.
The democrats will also insinuate that Trump is in league with the Russians and is a double agent of sorts. And those who want to believe that will lap right up.
It’s actually a brilliant strategy to harm the incoming President short-term. But long term none of it goes anywhere. And that’s why I am loving the entertainment value.
By the way I have seen this act before. They tried a similar tactic with Ronald Reagan. The dems were calling him stupid non-stop for months on end.
How’d that work out for them?
Bingo.
It’s the same reason Hillary was able to avoid prison for her email scandal
Absolutely correct!
Those who have the reins of power can do some pretty amazing things. Like shut down certain investigations and begin others.
Ever wonder why it is so difficult to defeat a sitting President? It’s only happened twice in modern day politics. Jimmy Carter (1980) and George HW Bush (1992). Both men of high integrity…Hmm…
The manipulation of the process is what a good incumbent is capable of. But now we are back to dirty politics.
Gasp…No President could ever manipulate our intelligence agency’s, or our Justice Department LOL…Nooo of course not. Especially one that is calling for a peaceful transition of power at the same time. Right?
Freaking Brilliant!
Wrong again pal.
What makes you think I’m against somalian refugees? Look at some of my posts here.
Why are you against a robust screening program? (You conveniently never addressed this in any of my previous posts).
I think it’s cute when people like you vote for an obvious loser like gary Johnson. You know you would never have to defend your decision cause theres no fucking chance he would get in. You can stay on the attack, which you do, for either outcome. It’s a sad weak mindset of low confidence in your actions.
No ownership or responsibility. But you’re comfortable cause you can’t be “wrong”. I’d be curious to see how you make decisions in your personal life, hopefully they don’t follow this same train of thought.
I can’t keep responding to you, and I hope you understand why. This has gone exactly where I didn’t want it to. Bickering with you is like trying to get something done with a coworker who has no ambition, or motivation and simply doesn’t give two shits.
Have a nice day.
How’d that work out for them?
Pretty good. He didn’t run for a third term, did he?
I wasn’t cogent enough for politics in the Reagan years, but this is virtually identical to Bush II.
The brilliant idiot conspirator spy that has managed to infiltrate the highest office in the land.
They need some new material. I don’t know if that is a remnant of Carville or what, but they just need to hang it up.
