Trump: The First 100 Days

Yes, I know that Hatch was in love with Garland. Right up to the point to where Obama nominated him for the Supreme Court. Then of course as is always the case politics took over.

But then again I never liked Hatch…

I don’t want to get into an 89 post exchange but all of that did begin under GW.

Ok, so I really dont want to get into a nasty argument here, but please pay closer attention. I didnt say terrorist attacks.

We had I think it was 29 somalians that were sending money back to terror cells in somalia etc. they were idnetified and removed or prosecuted etc.

Wouldn’t it be awesome if Trump stunned us all with a dazzling display of bipartisanship (and respect for the Constitution) by re-nominating Garland?

A crash is still all but inevitable. Most of the European financial institutions are treading water, if not insolvent., and contagion could spread very easily to a worldwide level. China is riddled with an impending debt crisis, which would mean the engine of global growth sputtering to a halt.

But then, I am a Jeremiah, so I could be wrong.

There are good people coming to America from everywhere in this world. We have to do a good/better job of keeping the shitty people out of out great nation.

I’ve met some really nice somalians that are here to play along and do good things, I’m glad to see them here, thats what americas is all about.

Funny story: my gf and i were at the grocery store and a (probably) somalian woman in a hijab accidentally knocked over a tower of oreos that was placed in the middle of the aisle. It was like here is a tower of an iconic American symbol being knocked over by a muslim (sound familiar?). I can’t remember exactly, but I’m pretty sure she just walked away and didn’t bother to clean up the mess she created.

I’m deeply concerned about their peripheral vision, imagine this woman driving!!

I’ve had plenty of experiences this past summer when riding my motorcycle where someone could’ve easily injured/killed me due to their lack of paying attention and following the rules of the road…they were all white. We should also deport these pieces of shit for not assimilating!

Ha ha…you are on today my friend.

As you know conservatives would consider that a blatant act of betrayal.

That is what Trump has said he wants to do. And for this he is called a racist which is insane. And beyond that he was called anti-gay where they got that one I don’t know. But I guess once the left wing name calling machine goes to work there is no end to it…

Has anyone noticed that while conservatives such as myself were not happy that Obama got elected and reelected that there was no marching in the streets? There were not threats to stop the inauguration. There was no looking for safe places to hide?

Ha…

No, there was just the Birther movement, the Tea Party, a Congressman yelling “You lie!” at the POTUS during the SOTU address, “The single most important thing we want to achieve is for President Obama to be a one-term president,” Oath Keepers, Operation Jade Helm hysteria…

You have confused typical politics with the actions of left wing supporters.

You compare the above with rioting in the streets? With threatening to stop the inauguration? With little baby liberals running for their safe places? With the onslaught of Hollywood attacking the President Elect and even making a video to appeal to the electors to change their vote? Oh please…

You have compared typical political attacks which were launched against Obama with mass hysteria on the left.

The left doesn’t lose well, they rarely do.

Already starting the contortions, Zeb?

That didn’t take long.

Were pretty tame so far as riots go…

Other than assassination, nothing can stop the inauguration. Disrupt it, yes. Stop it, no.

‘Typical political attacks’? Interesting. I hadn’t realized congressman yelling “You lie!” during the SOTU address and/or denying the legitimacy of a POTUS by claiming he’s not a natural-born citizen were all that common.

As opposed to the quiet, centered, thoughtful narratives that dominated the right when they thought HRC might win:

I find it interesting people with only a picture of general kelly are absolutely convinced Trump is a stooge for Russia.

But critizing the US sending $38 billion to Israel in 2016 alone? Crickets

CNN is a legit news organization that used appropriate editorial restraint in reporting on the existence of the disputed dossier without revealing any of its unsubstantiated claims. In contrast, Buzzfeed irresponsibly published the scurrilous, uncorroborated contents of the dossier purely as clickbait.[/quote]

“CNN’s decision to publish carefully sourced reporting about the operations of our government is vastly different than BuzzFeed’s decision to publish unsubstantiated memos…”

aka

"Let’s tell everyone this memo exists. Let’s say it’s unverified, obviously, but let’s also stress that it includes allegations that, ‘Russian operatives claim to have compromising personal and financial information about Mr. Trump’ and that there was, supposedly, a ‘continuing exchange of information during the campaign between Trump surrogates and intermediaries for the Russian government.’ Let’s tell everyone that the FBI is looking into it, that the President and Vice President have been briefed on it, and that, ‘some officials said it augmented the evidence that Moscow intended to harm Clinton’s candidacy and help Trump’s.’

“No, no, it’s OK, because we’re not talking about the actual INFORMATION here, just letting everyone know that this memo exists and that it’s being discussed. The memo definitely exists, and it’s definitely being discussed, so we can report on that as part of our coverage of the operational processes of our government. And, obviously, we’ll tell everyone exactly where to find the specifics of the memo, because, again, that’s just stating a fact – the leaked memo CAN be found over at Buzzfeed. And, because we can’t tell anyone what it says (you know, journalism and stuff), we’ll just hint at what other people have told us about it. We’re not reporting on the information in the memo, we’re just reporting on what people have told us about the information in the memo. Did we mention Buzzfeed, yet?”

Grow some fucking nuts, CNN.

edited to include a “fuck off” to CNN for updating it’s article without preserving the original or providing any sort of audit trail, as determined by my 10 second skim of the page.

In answer to your question, Zeb:

Trump and his Followers can’t have it both ways…

You can’t have this “In-your-face/tell-it-like-it-is/piss off anyone and everyone/wag-my-dick-in-people’s-face-and-like-it/unconventional” candidate…and THEN turn around and expect people to react to him in conventional ways.

You deliberately piss people off? Then expect them…(wait for it…!)… to be pissed off…

“(After BuzzFeed’s publication of the memos, The New York Times added some of the allegations contained in them to its article on the subject.)”

“So, in summation, we didn’t do anything wrong. But, even if we did, OTHER PEOPLE DID IT TOO.”

As always you are long on accusations but very short on proof. I have compared and contrasted the two different approaches.

If you think violence in the streets by left wing knuckle heads is the same as a conservative stating that he does not want a democrat President to win a second term then you really have a disconnect from the reality of the situation.

Yep…that’s me, I guess…

Are people still rioting and protesting my friend?

The existence of the document was an open secret. It was known to have been presented to the POTUS and PEOTUS. Members of the Senate were alluding to it publicly during confirmation hearings.

It’s existence qualified as valid news. It’s (unverified) content did not. And this is exactly how the major media outlets treated it.

As an aside, here is Fox News piggybacking off of CNN:
