Trump: The First 100 Days

Illegals riding free healthcare

Sending $400,000,000+ to Iran

Letting George soros have his way with our society with attempts to unravel the US(I live 1/8mi from where paid protestors shut down the interstate and were essentially rioting against the cops)

Blindly (without robust filtering/screening) Taking in refugees (I live in mn, we have had a bag full of terrorists from somalia etc)

I call this bending over, do you?

This shit about trump and russia doesn’t mean anything to me yet, I’ll take another look in 6mo.

The fact that he says wht he says means a lot. Didn’t reagan have secret service around him when he said “tear down that wall”?

Still the greatest country? Hell yea. We just have been demoralized and bumped down a few pegs.

As for delegitimizing the press, whats the truth? Are they lieing and biased sacks of shit that have been in bed with liberals for too long? Well if so then yea, cnn is tvs version of the onion.

Once in a while I give MSLM a chance to prove me wrong and they ALWAYS blow it, ALWAYS. Some channels/show/anchors should be fired and/or have their power pulled for the shit they spew, its a disservice.

Buzzfeed and CNN are apples and oranges. CNN is a legit news organization that used appropriate editorial restraint in reporting on the existence of the disputed dossier without revealing any of its unsubstantiated claims. In contrast, Buzzfeed irresponsibly published the scurrilous, uncorroborated contents of the dossier purely as clickbait. Thus, to tar CNN and Buzzfeed with the same brush is a cynically misleading gambit on the part of Trump.

Thank you, usmcc.

The same here…and the importance of having our Intelligence Services and The President work together for the security and protection of the United States.

We agree on Buzzfeed but lets take a look at CNN:

  1. They are owned by Time-Warner and Time-Warner is one of Hillary’s biggest donators
  1. They gave the debate questions to Donna Brazile in advance

Edit: 3) just remembered they told people that reading Wikileaks is illegal

CNN is dying on it’s own - their average age of viewer is in it’s 60’s

CNN does need to take a good look in the mirror.

One thing I am curious to see, though; it’s how FOX covers Trump.

It should be interesting.

Can you tell us, as a MN resident, how well have Somalis integrated into American society?

The former neo-cold warriors are now unironically quoting the Russian government and Wikileak’s statements as proof of Russian non-involvment. Does that go some way to answering how Fox will cover Trump?

EDIT: For the record, I would count myself as an armchair cold warrior. this whole debacle reminds me of a Mark Steyn quote:

“The standard rap against us armchair warriors is that we can’t stand the heat of real war, but poor Mary Ann can’t stand the heat of real armchairs. The chap on the sofa at that dinner party was just too beastly and sceptical.”

From your link:

“The organizations themselves did not donate, rather the money came from the organizations’ PACs, their individual members or employees or owners, and those individuals’ immediate families. Organization totals include subsidiaries and affiliates.”

No, Donna Brazile got some of the questions, and passed them along to HRC staffers. And she was let go by CNN for doing so. Absent corroborating evidence, you can’t imply (as you seem to be doing) that CNN funneled questions to HRC via Brazile.

One CNN talking head alluded to this in an off-the-cuff remark. Hardly counts as ‘CNN told people reading Wikileaks is illegal.’

“CNN’s median viewer age was 61 compared to 67 for Fox. But in primetime the difference was starker; CNN’s average was 59 while Fox News averaged 68.”

Illegals got free healthcare before Obamacare.

We didn’t send Iran any money. Their assets were unfrozen.

(Note: not a fan of the Iran nuke deal).

And the Koch brothers?

We help refugees. This isn’t unusual.

There are two difference, imo. First, the U.S.S.R posed a serious and existential threat to the United States whereas some reporter from CNN does not. Secondly, what Reagan and the U.S. was fighting against was very real. CNN being fake news is not.

That’s fine if that’s how you feel. I disagree, but there’s no point in arguing it out.

Candidly, this is total non-sense. The Onion is satire. CNN is not.

It is not the President’s place to delegitimize the press. I don’t care what party they are in either.

That’s fine, but it isn’t the governments place to do this.

What terror attacks have occurred other than the mall stabbing?

  1. They come through PACs because donation to political campaigns directly from corporations is illegal.

  2. At best they’re highly negligent because someone at CNN still had to give the debate questions to Donna Brazile in order for her to pass it on

Indeed. Doing so is part-and-parcel of Trump’s strategy of demagoguery. He convinces his overly-credulous supporters that he is being an un-PC truth-teller, when in fact he’s simply ‘punching down’ on an unpopular target in an effort to 1) score cheap political points, and 2) divert attention from the very real problems accruing to his transition.

Unfortunately, this strategy comes at a heavy cost. By encouraging the public to have a paranoid distrust of the media, Trump renders rational poitical discourse–which depends upon the press providing a broadly agreed-upon set of facts–extremely difficult.

If you wish to argue that CNN’s trust in Ms. Brazile was misplaced, I cannot disagree. But that doesn’t mean CNN was in-the-bag for HRC.

this made me lol

Absolutely.

“The basis of our governments being the opinion of the people, the very first object should be to keep that right; and were it left to me to decide whether we should have a government without newspapers or newspapers without a government, I should not hesitate a moment to prefer the latter. But I should mean that every man should receive those papers and be capable of reading them.”

“The only security of all is in a free press. The force of public opinion cannot be resisted when permitted freely to be expressed. The agitation it produces must be submitted to. It is necessary, to keep the waters pure.”

FOX is smug no question. They all have that air about them. But FOX didn’t give debate questions to any of the Presidential candidates ahead of time. like CNN did. The highlight of Trump’s news conference the other day was when he shut down CNN. They had it coming. Granted I don’t think he should treat them that way all the time…just most of the time

You know the rest of the story Trump 200 negative news stories to Hillary’s 40. All brought to us by the MSLM with CNN in the lead. The very same people who will be trying to bring down Trump over the next 4 years.

By the way I watch MSNBC on a somewhat regular basis. Believe it or not I am trying to understand how the other side thinks. And probably 1 out of 10 times I agree with their point of view.

One more side note, Greta Van Susteren just joined MSNBC and I am curious about her new role. Did MSNBC hire her for a more conservative perspective, or did she simply sell out for the dollars.

They will be as protective of Trump as CNN, MSNBC, NBC, CBS, The NY Times and the many other left wing news sycophants were protective of Obama.

Rosie O’Donnell needs to be ignored. She is a has been comedian who was never really very funny to begin with. Now she’s an expert on government affairs…Uh huh.

Put her in the same category as Barbara Streisand when it comes to political views. Although I must say that at least Streisand is immensely talented.

Something else I am curious about, Zeb:

Are you and other Conservatives beginning to compile a comprehensive, “Cut-and-Paste” Dossier of Trump’s mistakes and failures like you did with President Obama?

(If you haven’t started, you are already behind…and don’t give me that “He isn’t President yet”, crap…President’s Obama’s list literally started with his Birth…)
